As a native Dutch speaker, after more than a year of Danish courses, spoken Danish still sounds exactly like this. Reading isn't all that difficult, but I'm not sure I needed courses for that.
The end credits were also great, done in English and cod Danish and Swedish, and the Harry and Paul theme sung in the same manner as the theme from The Bridge "Director | Dik | Dikheed" 😜
I’m now walking around my house speaking like this! Wife’s walked out and gone shopping as she can’t stand it, guess I’ll keep doing it! House to myself, magic! Heera voren kulta, marra . See perfect Scaninavionis.
Plol, Plol. Fvioftop. That is exactly how Danish sounds to me, someone with a post nasal drip, or at the very least uttering unusual sounds after accidentally eating a fly. One often wonders if the sounds are made up to make Danish sound unique. Plol. Harry sounds just like the PM in Borgen. Just like in real Danish there is no apparent relation between the potato mouth sounds and the spelling.
@@thetrashman3129 Yet the DVD releases and every single re-run of the episodes on TV still include those sketches. So, aside from the usual whiney, perpetually offended woke brigade looking for more things to be pretend to be offended by, what kind of backlash and action was actually taken against those so-called "racist" sketches? Just because a few Twitterati's used their usual screeching, vocal minority to try and signal their virtue inside their echo chamber, it doesn't mean they were either correct or in-line with the true public opinion.
I live in Denmark and when I show them this, they absolutely “don’t get it” which makes it even funnier
I've watched this a thousand times. Just has me pissing myself. Pathetic am I not.
Two of the great comedic genius of modern times… no one even comes close..

Omfg. I was born in Poland but i live in Sweden. I speak fluent Swedish. This is how spoken Danish sounds to me.
@@ossian108 But written Danish you can understand easily, right?
Reading is a difficult place to live :)

But it has a big summer festival! :D
@@veganlion8662 NIce one:) English is such a nightmare as we seem to have made it so hard for non native speakers to read :(
Why this doesn't have more views? It's hilarious

Fabulous but not for me the end part, however Harry and Paul unique kind of humour.
Not real Danish, but amusingly done.
@ Privacy Matterson: Thanks for enlightening us, professor.
@@stevecox7075 You can't say that to Privacy Matterson!
Imagine if it had been a sketch about an African, Middle Eastern or Asian show. They would've been hung up by their bootstraps
Like the Arabic celebrations sketches? Or the Nelson Mandela commercials?
@@IAmPez the nelson mandela sketches have been restrospectively labelled racist, so yes you are correct
