Had this in my game for years. One of my first home mods. Saw "Reborn" and came running! I'm still using version 1 so let's see what's new🥰 Love you, dear sister!🥰 Thank you🥰 Adventure ever on with hugs and kisses, Phat🥰
Very nice! That library is very impressive. It wows with the view as you walk in and it makes a real statement. That statement being , "You will find all of the books on overcoming your fear of heights on the top shelf". Part of the Self Help Through Tough Love series of books published by the Evangelical Sadists Church who's motto is Your Pain Is Our Gain. Their entire recruitment strategy seems to be based on slurring the last two letters of the word and then inviting drunks and the hard of hearing to join their Sect.
I downloaded the mod this morning as soon as I saw it and tested it out in game. I was looking forward to your video showcase of it. What an amazing remake! The original mod was awesome but this remake is simply stunning! I like the additional colorful decorations and clutter which make the home feel lived in. I love how mage-y it feels all throughout the home's interior and exterior. I especially like the basement area with the alchemical centerpiece and the bookcases along the walls. This player home is definitely staying in my load order. Thank you for showing us this gorgeous player home.
Why, hello Gail! Long-time-no-see. I haven't been keeping up with Stu. lately, I'm afraid. That, after him offering to have me collaborate on one of his music videos. Life problems. I didn't know you played Skyrim! Good for you! Well, just wanted to say hello. Nice to see you again!
@@HareDeLune Hello! I've been playing Skyrim for several years. I really enjoy Feb's videos and have found a lot of great player homes as a result. I hope you're doing well. It's great to see you here.
thanks for showcasing this house!! when Marshmalo sent me a nexus PM asking for permission to upload this remake I was stunned by the quality, they easily made it look MUCH prettier! Excited to use this for my next playthrough! pronunciation wasn't too bad; soft rod-vit!
Lovely...every time I see the swans I think of the insanely aggressive swans we have here in Boston, Massachusetts. They are so sassy they have their own pond and dare the tourist to mess with them....Lol!!! Truly beauty and the beast.😅
First i thought oh Feb is digging the old things up again... then i saw the "Reborn" part and got excited and the i went: "Dang it, thats a nice upgrade and makeover there!" and yeah now its not just a mage home, but pretty much anyone could use it and yep the lokus is missing. and you know what i missed in the last shot? Millwater Retreat, thats always there with me and Oars Rest and Mammoth Manor further down the line.^^ Anyways, nice mod, nice review again. Thx Feb, as always. 😊
Thanks for showcasing this one, Feb.! I just saw it today on Bethnet. It's a beautiful bit of scenery indeed! I think I'll go and see if you've showcased Aldamar, as well. I've been wanting to try it for awhile but never seem to be able to make room for it. It was great coming along on your tour of this one. Good to hear your voice again. Hope all's well with you and yours! 😊
Okay mannequins scary because they're actually NPCs and randomly walking into the house and they're moving is pretty scary especially when you're totally engrossed in the game and you see it for the first time and you're like what the hell what the hell
There's actually a mod that fixes this. Mannequins have some default idle package which has them move (since they're NPCs) and a script that is supposed to freeze them in place, but if there is lag when the cell loads their package engages for a few seconds and they move (oh, for example, in a cluttered player home) before the script runs. The mod replaces their default AI package to just stand there. Works well, but I don't remember the name.
Wow, what an upgrade! Looks to be much improved in all the areas the OG version was lacking. If I remember correctly the OG had a hidden room as well, something about the previous owner being skooma addicted vampire\dunmer that fled Skyrim. IDK, pretty cool though thanks for the review. Great job! 🍄 (PS so good had watch it twice)
I'm glad those ships are supposed to be floating in midair. Otherwise I was going to change my mind about heading down to the meadery later. Thank you Feb!
If you had gotten very close to the mannequin you would have seen a bead of sweat from the panic of almost getting caught moving around. Their alive!!!
As much as I love this design, I just don't see any use in my playthroughs for such a large home. I don't normally adopt or collect followers, so all that space is unnecessary for me. I do like having several tiny homes around the map to get some rest. However, I find myself storing the bulk of my loot at Sindora's Hidden hearth. I absolutely love that home and it's the biggest I'd ever want to "live" in.
I just found your channel to check out a specific mod house I saw on Skyrim and this is not good. You have reviewed so many amazing mod houses I want them all. Im going to end up with 20 houses in Skyrim 😂
This is amazing looking. I would of used it except for two things. One that Armor mannequins, oh my gosh I hate thise things and that one moved, eww. Secondly this house is a nice size and having 2 load doors on the inside seems a bit much considering. Otherwise if not for those things I'd download it in a second. Thanks for the video Febrith ❤❤
When I first purchased the vanilla house in Windhelm as I was poking around the manikins came alive and began moving around the house. Bare in mind that I'm playing in VR. It was pretty spooky. I damn near fled the place in terror. Was a while back now but I'm pretty sure I did leave. Had to leave in truth and when I came back they were back in place. For a while afterward every time I went back there I was expecting it to happen again. Some people love how spooky it can be in VR. Not me.
The mannequins move because the easiest way to make them was to reskin an NPC and tell them to stay put. On occasion, the "stay put" order gets a little lost with everything else happening in the game and they realize they're an (odd looking) NPC, and so, do average NPC things until they're told to stay put again.
@@FebrithDarkstar It's a lot less scary when they move around when you realize they're not just an object, but the best kind of roommate; quiet, no mess, never loiter in doorways, and don't try to sleep in your bed. XD
I've said this before, I hate mannequins. I have a very real phobia. The worst that I ever got freaked out by them was in Falskaar. Bleedin' 'ell! I came in the door and was having a look around when the bugger at the door turned his head to look at me and folded his arms 🥴 I freaked out so bad I teleported Sofia to me 😂 if there's mannequins in the main bedroom, I won't use the house 😅 love this house. Love Lake Ilinalta. Not too big, not too small and a great view.
There is a mod that fixes that mannequins move glitch. Not sure if it affects mannequins that are part of player home mods, but it would be worth trying.
It was Inigo playing a joke on you, moving around the dummies to make it seem like they were working. you know Khajiit will do what Khajiit will do LOL
I had a glitch one time where all of my mannequins breathed and heads moved to follow my player. I immediately shut the game off and went through my load order to fix it.
Meh... digging the larger bedroom but prefer the forge/smelter in same room in basement. Old design keeps all unique artifact displays locked in a cage so I don't have to deal with them. Dig the spriggan statuary. Absolutely abhor splitting the forge in two and moving it outside. Used to be all smithing in ONE area and a single load door to get back up to enchanting and alchemy. Now, there are at least TWO load doors to get to the smelter, two more to get from the smelter to the forge, then two more again to get back to the grind wheel and I didn't even see an armorer's workbench at all. Some really nice aesthetic features but over all a failure from a crafter's perspective. Other than a basic "crash and cook" home, I use Mirele Bismath for two main purposes... Crafting and book display. The big "library" downstairs is all static so no real added book storage value for my 8K septims. I'll be keeping the original. Thank you for the lovely tour, sweet Feb. Even when the home doesn't meet my stringent requirement, you are always fair and fab! Love you dear sister🥰 Hugs, Phat🥰
Can someone please help? I’m trying this home but when I use the Box Of Sorting for my ingots I don’t know where they put them! Haha it says in the basement but I don’t find the storage 😢
Unpopular Opinion but I think I preferred the older version. The library in this new one is incredible, but I just hate static clutter as it feels fake and with how much this new version has, I’ll never be able to use it. Also, the addition of the blacksmith force feels very out of place, I hate how every home has one these days. I hate to be negative, still an incredible home, very beautiful. But a little disappointed that the old version has been taken down from Beth net …
Hello Darkstar! Well you're probably going to be looking at cave homes or own world space homes - if you want one that can hold a TON of your valuables then you might like to try Pinecrest Estate by Cynndal - it's beautiful!
The hidden room has “ the Lusty Argonian …. A comfy chair and a rack ….. hmm what type of “ hidden dungeon “ might be ? Maybe also sound proof ? 😂😂😂😂😂 ( the whole comment is a joke )
