I think a Jester role would be fun, where one faithful can take a percentage of the prizepool at the point they are banished. So they would want appear faithful in the early game to ensure that the prizepool increases and therefore there percentage appears more valuable but they wouldn't want to stay in the game too long as that would increase their chances of being murdered which wouldn't reward the jester any prize money as they would need to be banished in order to claim the prize money.
I think this is an interesting idea actually. Would definitely make people stay on their toes and also cause doubt about whether people are being intentionally suspicious.
Could be called the thief, also could win a chance to be judge where everyone votes for someone and that person can banish a person they think is the traitor
@@Mattchupichue I think that puts too much power in one person's hand. I think they shouldn't eliminate people outside of the "Banishment/Murder" situation
@myenragedrants they did with the train but when that happens there's always mistrust with the people that come back, so if they keep a group away it should be like 7 but when it's down to 7 players left otherwise the people that come later will never be trusted and therefore not have a chance of making it to the end after they sacrificed their chance for others
Even with the traitors having an advantage, I did not expect them to give a faithful the ability to see the traitors identify. Since the contestants can’t reveal themselves at this point, it’s honestly safer to keep banishing until there’s two contestants left.
I genunely think Charlotte got twist fucked because if she wasn't forced to recruit and the seer ability she probably would've won the game and would've made the end with Frankie and Leanne... because the way I see it playing out is Alexander goes at 6 then probably Freddie goes at 5 then Jake at 4 and at 3 if they decide to banish again it becomes Frankie's decision which one goes between Charlotte and Leanne.
Nah I love that we know the traitors. Maybe because I’m usually pro traitors so I love watching their strategy. I feel like the editing will also be really bias if we don’t know, it will have some unnecessary confusion to mislead us and they might also have to focus the camera on everyone which will be hard for just one episode. I remember watching “the mole” and being annoyed because the producers obviously edited it in a way to not give the mole away
I like it, but I almost wish for the first few episodes, we didn't and then at the end of the first batch of three episodes (usually the end of the first week) they reveal them. So at first, we aren't even sure and we'll playing along at home.
@@myenragedrantsokay that would actually be more interesting to see if we got any clue at all. I just think it will be hard to focus on all the players without some bias editing
sending a letter to someone with a shield makes sense. then faithfuls know for sure there was a murder attempt. rather than having to guess if there was an attempt.
I think the guessing makes it more of a mystery though... It means they have to work a little bit harder to wonder whether it was a recruitment or if it was an attempted murder!
@@myenragedrants the game is already heavily skewed to benefit traitors (e.g. not revealing identities in the last round; several recruitments AND murders etc), so this little step to give them some info feels deserved
In Traitors season US they did that with Bergie were he knew that he was chosen to be murdered by Dan and the traitors, but he had the shield. Therefore, he went into the breakfast ecstatic
Honestly I'm kind of surprised this Season is hated ... I honestly think this cast was very diverse and the gameplay felt pretty dynamic because the person I thought was going home never was.
We should have a sheriff. Every night they select one person they think is a traitor. If they get it right, the sheriff's choice is eliminated and the sheriff keeps their role. If they get it wrong, the sheriff's choice stays in the game and a new sheriff is chosen.
No offence, but that would be terrible... I think it would be far too risky to implement properly, and it would also potentially fuck up numbers and stuff. I think it would be far too overpowered to have an ability able to remove someone from the game when they're not a traitor.
Tbf didn’t think about the fact that it would clear a ton of faithfuls and make it almost impossible for the traitors to win Edit: Maybe it would work if the sheriff could only do it once?
@38WestSinger I think there could be a possibility if it was a one time thing, but then again, I think the stakes need to be higher. If they pick a traitor, then they get to stay in the game. If they pick a faithful, they get killed themselves...
@@myenragedrants I am not sure about that. I don't think that would be quite so interesting. An attempt at explaining how well they played, and the factors which led to success and failure would be fascinating. Was Linda lucky or did she do something which worked in her favour? @ I think it's because there are different ways to assess it. For example, I think Linda's strength was being really likeable, which, I think, could be classed as a good game play. She didn't get voted off because people liked her. But she played really badly in other ways, which is why she couldn't win. I thought the same about Andrea is Season 1, which is the only ranking that sticks in my mind as one where I disagreed with you somewhat. I would say your rankings are pretty solid other than that. It's all rather subjective and people shouldn't be rude if they disagree. I know where I would place Linda in your ranking system and I am interested to see if you will put her in the same place.
It annoys the hell out of me when the banished traitors fail to mention if they're OG or recruited. Especially for the likes of Charlotte (who Frankie thought was a faithful, which she was until she got recruited) and Freddie. Frankie being the seer, sealed her fate to being banished unfortunately
i think the powers are a cool idea but they do break the game if implemented in the wrong way - like you said it would be better to have them from the start
I completely agree. I think the seer would've broken the game before this point, unless used in the first two episodes, but having it just before the finale was a nice twist, but hopefully not again at this point
Charlotte should of dropped the accent, told Frankie shes from London, then the next day when Frankie comes down tells the truth, Charlotte back in a welsh accent says omg frankies gone mad
poor Freddie. to be honest in his place I would have probably refused recruitment. it is so obvious he was recruited to be sacrificed. tip for future traitor recruits too - do NOT do what the ones who recruited you seem so eager to do ("let's murder L....e") as there is a reason for that
I think Freddie was just naive sadly... and also, I think he didn't want to just get murdered. I think he thought he could have done something to win, but alas, it is what it is
I dont think theyve ever actually gone for someone with a shield? I could be wrong but when it happened with happy he was a traitor and obviously they recruited when they thoughts lt was leanne who got shot at instead of a recruitment could be wrong tho
It has happened a few times, but not enough for it to be a running theme. I think usually the traitors are just unlucky, but this is the first time someone with a shield was deliberately targeted.
Cant see how it would ever work with viewers having to work out who trators are, we have 1 hr a day, and the contestants are in it full time, and still cant do it
It's not as important for us to work it out, but there are many moments that we watch as an audience that we don't find suspicious because we know they're faithful, but the players have to question. Would definitely be fun to play along icl
I hate the seer ability soooo much, it screwed up one of the best traitors we have ever seen so badly and people who say that charlotte could beat it is a joke. The game was balanced sooo well and now it takes out two people if they choose a traitor or secures the final two if the choose a faithful.
I thought it was a great twist personally because the endgame was really weighted in Charlotte's favour due to the "no revealing roles" addition. I think the seer twist would have been better as a reward in the FIRST episode, but the second best place to put it is the final night. Also, have you ever played Werewolf, cause the Seer is in that game, and the amount of times my perfect game has been scuppered by a lucky seer is frustrating. Definitely felt for Charlotte...
@ there is a big difference between the seer in this game and in werewolf tho, in werewolf that’s their final role, in the traitors they can be a faithful or traitor on top of that role, which breaks the game so badly, it causes two possibilities, one is that a faithful and traitor get banished because the “seer” was a faithful and found a traitor which if it is introduced in the end mean the final five turns into a 1/3 shot or just a win. Or it solidifies the final two making the end pointless. If a traitor got it then if they try to expose a traitor both them and the traitor gets out, and if they find a faithful then the traitor instantly wins in the final without trouble. That’s the only 4 possibilities that could happen if it is at the end and all four break the game.
@@ardinbeatbox6944 I haven't played Werewolf in a hot minute so I can't remember the specifics. I think my takeaway is that the Seer needs to be a Week 1 power, not an Episode 11 power
