Gravity Rush 2 is another PS4 exclusive which sadly never gain recognition when it was announced to a minor reception, this game was neglected and forgotten upon it's release and only for the mainstream public to only view as an PS Vita game and never give a chance.
@@blinxman4956 that's a great example dude, Gravity Rush 2 deserved better especially as a sequel it does a lot better than the 1st game, especially the length has been tripled like there's three Gravity Rush Vita Storylines mashed together and it's storytelling is even better and adds a lot of stakes to the table and even adds more lore and also answers some big questions people have been asking since that 1st entry, not everything got answered but none the less for the storytelling and characters alone it's well worth a look, especially if any of you played the first game all the way through.
“The Order 1886” REALLY deserved a sequel! The story and characters were so cool, but the game was fairly short so it was lambasted by critics and players. Personally, I enjoyed it a lot.

Days Gone has some of the most natural sounding dialog and chatter during action that I've ever heard in a game... It's hard to explain, but it gets your adrenaline pumping when your character is screaming like a psycho BACK AT the psychos trying to get you...
Concrete Genie was so charming and original. I would like to see a sequel to the order 1886. The story has so much potential. It was also a joy to get the platinum. I myself would add Knack II to the list. That game is so much fun and improves everything from the original. The combat is very smooth.

Huntdown is extremely underrated , finished the game a 100% in all difficulty modes and the hardest mode is nearly impossible , it's got cheats as a reward . It's really fun with a friend (couch coop only) .

I cannot agree at all on Order 1886. You are way out on this one. When a game is given this much of a chance to succeed and it fails it has a problem. The gameplay is shallow and repetitive. It's about the bare minimum possible for the genre to be a game. The story is cliched, lacking in logic, short, and incomplete. It seems the developer's entire focus was presentation and backstory. Dragon Dogma must be the first console game with a proper photo mode....that I've played .... I even remember that capcom japan had a website we're you can upload your screenshots and make little "house" ....
while the order 1886 was too short, days gone suffered from being way too long. the gameplay loop became repetitive and boring because of that. two games that could've been something else...
I actually own most of the games mentioned here except for a few. About the Fighting Ex Layer though, its failure is more to do with card system it used which heavily made it hard to win because some decks made a character virtually impossible to beat. In fact Fighting Ex Layer is on the Switch and they took out that card system which makes the game more enjoyable. While the card system is unique perse, it is reminiscent of Street Fighter X Tekken's gem system.
Mad Max was underrated to a level not seen by science. but lots of good games drown it out. Witcher, FO4 and MGS5. Sometimes you will just come across a game you never heard of before from years ago and it blows you away. that's why these lists are great for people. guaranteed at least one person will see mad max on this video who has never heard of it and give it a 10/10 playthrough after
Mad Max was more fun to play than those games flat out. sorry not sorry. Mad Max, Days Gone, Rage 2, the PS4 is dripping with terrific "flawed" games that have awesome gameplay loops. Those 3 games are more FUN than the 10/10 games with crappy controls and bad maps
Very interesting choice putting the order: 1886 in a list of criminally underrated PS4 games. It definitely has some fatal flaws and its initial lukewarm reception is fully understandable when you remember that this was a full priced game at release. However, I do agree that you can get a few hours of entertainment from it thanks to its still gorgeous visuals & tight, cinema like storytelling. At least you can now, as you can get a disk version pretty damn cheap nowadays. I do feel that calling Odin Sphere Leifthrasir a remaster is doing it a bit of a disservice. The completely revamped combat system and overhauled item storage (a MAJOR fault with the PS2 original) really made it feel like a completely different beast to the PS2 version. I'd go so far as to say it was a full on remake, even if the graphics were just the same as before but scaled up to HD! It just feels like a totally different experience from the PS2 original. Good calls on Fighting Ex Layer and Huntdown though!! FEXL was surprisingly ambitious for such a small title & I got it on release to show my support but the game definitely isn't for everyone and isn't as easy to pick up and play as other fighting games, with its major dependence on momentum for combos. Huntdown is just immense fun. I bought it on switch and played through to complete each level with every bonus objective as well.
Deus ex: mankind divided, i dont know if its underrated but its just not talked abt enough great rpg with a great story exploration and multiple approaches to a mission
Thanks for including Days Gone and The Order 1886 both games deserved better especially Days Gone. Gmers didn't even give it a try and bad mouth wash it repeating what other people said without playing it first, a year later gamers where finding that is actually a good game but it was too late beacuse Sony pull the plug on the sequel.
When it comes to mad max I don't think people didn't like it or anything, I think people mostly stayed away from it because it was a licensed movie tie in game and people know that they're usually half hearted and just not worth spending the time with. The same mindset goes for the reviewers who DID give it pretty 'meh' reviews, because they had it in mind that it was just another movie game and they didn't really take it seriously and actually PLAY the game. Literally everything I hear online about the game is always positive and from the handful of hours I had played when I played it at a buddy of mines house, I felt it was really solid and I like what the game did with it's ideas
Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen just needs some streamlining of it controls and a solid remake. It could be one of the best games of all time with a slight tweak here and there.
Which underrated PS4 game would you suggest?
Mad Max

Unfortunately in Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen ps4, the Berserk Content was removed
I don't share your opinion with the order
I own more than the half of this list in my library but didn't play them... Now I feel like to share more hours with them!
I loved Street fighter ex 3 back in the day. One of the best fighting games ever made
Looks like Hades got some inspiration from Ruiner.
I love you. Just mentioning mad Max, I platinum'd that s***, no sleep no nothing, total badass game
I thought you had different intro music depending on the system the games are on.
I bought Dragons Dogma and the Dark Arisen expansion on Xbox 360 and the Game on the PS4 also...Great Game
crackin vid
thanks
Dude, Days Gone sold 10 million copies. Almost two million on PCs.
I had no problems with it, unplayed a few month after release.
I love Days Gone ❤
Final fantasy 14, just got into it my god so much, same as the 7 remake
Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen just needs some streamlining of it controls and a solid remake. It could be one of the best games of all time with a slight tweak here and there.
Days Gone works superb on the PS5, it is an awesome game.
RUclips algo, please, I don't even own a ps4...
But list is pretty swag tho
Mad Max was extremely underrated. I feel like if it didn’t come out during metal gear solid 5 it would have faired a bit better.
Finally a PS4 video ❤
More in the works 🙂
Mad Max Truly is the GOAT. Too bad Miller and Warner never solved their license issues on the franchise that has endless potential on dlcs
I wish that The Order 1886 could get a PS5 performance patch to run 4k @ 60fps. That game easily put most 2023 AAA to shame
I dont know if Dragons Dogma is underrated...its a cult classic really. Its even getting a much anticipated sequel soon.
