The examples you've shown here would need many many many weeks (if not months) of attempts to get to the right quality and visual aesthetic! I've heard from many users that they've spent a few annual subscriptions just for less than a dozen good videos!!! It's crazy expensive!
I appreciate the feedback! Perhaps I should have highlighted more the many attempts it can sometimes take to get as you say "the right quality and visual aesthetic".
Also with Everything Everywhere All at Once and some of the other media examples I mentioned they used Runway's Studio Product which is more costly but faster for video production.
But 2 of the main points I was trying to make in the video were that, the technology is a huge improvement to what existed before, and secondly it's only going to get better from here. By no means is it perfect but it's definitely exciting.
Excuse me !! I am a Runway Gen 3 subscriber, I upgraded to a Pro subscriber and it is barely enough to create only a few videos, not all of them are good, and I can assure you that it is not affordable, I felt anger when I heard that BS, look at the comments on the release date, do not take my word for it. ...
Fair point. I've subscribed to Gen 3 as well, and I do have to play around with the prompts to get what I want. Also the credits definitely go quickly, so I register your point about affordability!
I think it's hard to argue though, that this isn't a massive step up in technology. The footage I showed in the video Runway says is from the Gen 3 model (I don't think they were lying). And that Gen 3 model is only 12 bucks a month to get started.
Its definitely got its limitations, but I also think it's a massive step up, and it's only going to get better from here.
Yes, I heard it's ridiculously expensive attempts...it's like a casino's one-arm bandit. YOu might get an acceptable result after many many many attempts that burn up the credits!
