Beautiful journal! I love it! I hate ironing too, especially to pull it out for a very small job. Something I've started doing that works to get the fold lines out is use my water pen to "color" over the fold line, press it down with my finger, and it dries quickly and gets the fold out!

As a newbie to junk journaling it was great to see your beginning process. And It was fun seeing how much I agreed with your choices. Seeing you choose the pages for your signature was so helpful. I’ve begun making ephemera and hopefully soon will put together my first journal. Starting with one signature seems manageable. Good morning! The other day I was watching one of your old videos where you were making a cover out of fabric and I remember saying to myself, she doesn't make them like that anymore. I was just curious if you ever go back and watch your old videos and notice that you have changed the way you do things? I think it's neat when I can see the progression of a craft. All the tips and tricks and happy accidents that end up making things go a little more smoothly. It's fun! Very excited about this project! Blue is my favorite color. Mixed with pink and lace, I'm in love!!

Hi Gayle :) I just got an idea! Since you are using an envelope as a base for your cover, I thought that maybe you could actually turn it into an advantage. Maybe you could leave a side of the envelope open, and that would give you a big pocket open on the side of the cover. :D Maybe you could open the side of the envelope and fold the fabric inwards from both sides, so that your could reinforce the opening!
