I'm having one done soon. Looks like fun. Hope I get a cool table like this.

+pacha pache Glad it helped.
great help, thank you!
thankfully. regards from tech saudi
It said bowel perforation and rectal tear and constipation? Does not sound safe.
I have NEVER HEARD that an X-Ray Tech had to perform a rectal exam before inserting the Enema Tip!
Do you have to have no stool inside of you for this to be done?
THANKS ITS HELPFUL
can this detect a rectal intussusception or mucosal/internal prolapse?
+ClearVisionMuzik No. DCBE is non functional. Rectal prolapse is the end stage of rectal intussusceptions......starts with mucosal intussusceptions going to lower rectum to proximal anal canal, with further straining it starts becoming full thickness intussusceptions. When it goes into the anal canal it is internal prolapse (rectoanal intussusception), when it goes below the level of the anal verge, it is call extra anal rectal intussuception or rectal prolapse. These are demonstrated readily with a functional examination (the patient is defecating sitting in a commode like in real life).
+Indiana Radiology Education (Bilal Tahir MD IUSOM) do you know some symptoms of an internal prolapse,?
in tips point no.26.... there is a mistake (RECLAMP BAG.., NOT BAD). Please correct it. thank you.
This procedure hurts very much.
