Decathlon does not sell Riverside 700 and 900 series here, so my best choice would be to upgrade a Riverside 500. Does someone know if the 500, 700 and 900 series use the same frame? Would they take and 11 ir 12 speed HG cassette? Would 29" tappered MTB rigid fork fit those bikes?
Hello, I have Riverside 500 with heavy suggession from my father. He is roady for 40+ year, so I exchanged this from my 20 year old MTB. He and the shop keeper we ordered through the intrrnet promise everything to me. I ready with the test rides and ready to upgrade to be gravel/trail (MTB)/touring bike for deep forest touring . No race or fast ride. Is it worth to do it or should I give it to my father and buy a new bike? He fall in love with it.
I bought the same model riverside 500 n also the coincidence is my father suggested it, i rode the bike in decathlon store n immediately felt the difference.
Been trying to order an e-st900 for weeks now. Every day the site shows out of stock. Dealer in Edinburgh cannot tell me when any bikes are going to arrive. I know demand has been high recently but Decathlon are losing money big time by not keeping up. Anybody know if the Brose motor on this bike has been updated ? Reports of belt breakage are making me look elsewhere. Any info would be welcome.
Now that modern cycle motors are being situated in the bottom bracket area. Why can’t a small battery charger be incorporated into the rear wheel hub that could charge the bikes battery as you cycle along ? It may not keep the battery in a fully charged state, but could increase the range of the bike without installing a bigger and heavier battery. Remember Decathlon - it was my idea 😂👍
I’m enjoying the bike so far ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
that's easy, just change the tires for road tires 25mm - 32mm and swap the front chainring for a bigger one! With this bike you can do anything, if you want to go gravel, swap for big knobby tires and put a smaller chainring.

Good light bikes but I think prices have gone up massively since the start of the lock down... at least on the xc

Thank you so much
No mudguard comes with BT 100 😞
Great size
Can we add baby seat front & back?
Read product description, and consult with the store - just have seen S size not accepting what M and L could.
Thanks
