I binge watched the mormon cult docuseries the other night and honestly, not the references I expected in a makeup tutorial but definitely the references I needed lol. All of the messed up stuff is still haunting me.
Re house lights/ electrical: we had same type problems and after three electricians we had all light switches changed out… nice dimmers and some wifi and found problem. Previous electrician didn’t wrap wire around screw… instead stuck in hole which loosens over time. Worth it since we have dimmers and WiFi for a bunch of others that we want to control with our alarm system (to also set on timers.) lemonade :-)
Yup. Dadgummit, I just ordered the RMS. I can't resist a fake sunburn. It's like painting my face with childhood hot August nights and the smell of Dad grilling rainbow trout with Old Bay Seasoning. Ok that's maybe weird. Anyways. For some reason I don't have a powder version of an instant burn, and that's the weaksauce justification I gave myself when entering my card details. 😆

I think that new RMS blush is such a great formula and that the Maiden's Blush is a pretty color, but I wish that they were also offering it in the Lost Angel color. I don't really like their old powder blush formula that much, but that shade is as close as I have been able to find to Nars Orgasm in a cleaner product, and probably now they will eliminate that product entirely. Maybe that peachy-pink-shimmer shade is going out of style but I still personally like it.
Thanks for demonstrating the Maiden's Blush though - now I am feeling inspired to use it more.
Have you looked into Han blush in Coral Candy? It's a bit more pigmented but it's a clean option resembling Nars Orgasm. It's also affordable.

Your house was probably wired not-to-code originally or in a reno. When I remodeled a house, it was like every code violation they could think of, they did. I think the only thing to do is to fix each piece as you come across a problem.

I just picked up a bbbbeaautiful blush from TJMaxx that looks to be such a similar color to that expensive ass Chanta____ (I can't spell it lol) ... but this one was from Stila. I guess this particular shade was part of their Asian release overseas. But it is great and only cost me $8.

Music: THE NEW MUNA ALBUM!!! It’s self-titled, releasing on the 24th, and all their singles so far are amazing. Silk Chiffon has been one of my most played songs since its release back in September.
I am crying at those RMS blushes! SO PRETTY! Definitely turned on the email notification for when they restock. Just curious how you'd compare the Thrive concealer to the LYS? I completely used up one of the Thrive, and I have the Bare Minerals stick concealer right now, but I think it's breaking me out. Love the Thrive formula, but not so much the price tag. Thanks!

I enjoy Harry Styles as well, his stuff is catchy, but his lyrics are definitely not what I would consider deep. As far as music recs go, if you haven’t checked out Dermot Kennedy yet, I highly recommend him. Technically he’s Irish indie rock/pop I suppose, but he can do everything from folk, to dance, to covering Drake or Kanye with ease, and he’s a phenomenal lyricist (check out For Island Fire and Families, Moments Passed, or An Evening I Will Not Forget for examples). I’ve been stuck on him for the past few years. As a music junkie, I’ll limit my suggestions to The Neighbourhood, A.A. Bondy, Foals, Local Natives, Typhoon, The Lone Bellow, Thrice, RYX, Rufus du Sol, and Black Coffee if you want something chill to zone out to while painting. Hope those help!

Don't know if you're a musical fan, but the soundtrack to Six is such a bop. Imagine the six wives of Henry VIII are resurrected as the spice girls. It's awesome, it's historical, it's weird & I like it.
