Today, Display Specifications has revealed the New 34" Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 S34DG85 supporting the New NQ8 AI Gen 3 processor and Safe Guard Plus but coming in at 175hz. More info will be announced at the official unveiling.
Also, MSI has released a new 240hz varient of the MAG QD OLED line. 271QPX E2 is now available at retailers. News also broke that the MAG line og QD OLED monitors will support firmware downloads.

I just re-bought V1 because it was half price and I couldn't be bothered waiting for the V2 - looks like I made the right choice
Still 175hz makes this DOA for me. Would have considered if it was 240
Yea.. its weird. Its also may be using a different pixel arrangement vs the new Gen 3 panels.
Actually it's an advantage and better that it's "only" 175 Hz since this keeps under the threshold of DSC.

I heard sometime in July from Samsung UK. Ill keep a look out for sure. Before Gamescom it has to be..
@@ViktorsReality hope so. I asked customer service and they just said 'currently not sure, august 9th at the latest but its a provisional date and can change any time' so.. i have no idea! In the UK managed to get it with voucher codes and a cashback link to cost £745 and a 1tb SSD for free, might not be as good as the ASUS but for £550 cheaper I think it was by far the best choice. Just waiting for it to dispatch
i want to get new OLED monitor cuz now i have 144 IPS and i wnat to upgrade. Between the UltraGear™ OLED 27GS95QE-B and the SAMSUNG 27-Inch Odyssey G6 LS27DG602SMXU, both are priced similarly in my country. Which one do you recommend I buy?

@@Jfrljyky the OLED G6 or MSI MAG/MPG OLED wpuld be the best HDR monitors for ps5. I have a vs video coming up but these new qd oleds are very good. I will have an unbox of the asus glossy soon
If you want to choose a screen for the PS5, it will be 4K and IPS or 2K and OLED@@ViktorsReality

Nowhere yet is a 34" 38" 45" OLED monitor with a resolution of 5120 x 2160 (21:9) or a magnificient 49" 57" monitor with 7680 x 2160 (32:9).
I bought this day the first G8 34 oled for 800€.. should I cancel it ?

Viktor, the pg32ucdm by asus just dropped mcm 105 firmware update with brightness boost in hdr 1000 mode. Still waiting for this monitor showcase on your channel.
And also i would not trust samsung monitor division withmy money, they dont know how to make a good monitor, samsung panel division - yes ty for the qd-oled tech.😢

Oh.. i just red that's the ASUS PG32UCDP, so Asus actually is going to release one, somewhere in Q3 this year. So it's around the corner.
@@cyberneticorganism. PG32UCDP, is DOA. probably matte coating, but even if it glossy - this 480hz Fhd on 4k panel is a meh + it is w-oled v2 with old pixel structure and white subpixel, i would bet on september 27 inch QHD 480 v2.5 new sub pixel structure monitor.
@@ALFGamingTV No, it should be the same panel as in the 32GS95UE-B, with the new WRGB subpixel structure. And i prefer matte so ;-)
