Thanks for watching! Авто/Мото
What do you all think?! Love or hate em?
Jon Widmer Can't go wrong with bronze on white. clean and sporty, no bulging. Thumbs up!!
Jon Widmer you always finding such nice wheel man. 👍 if you ever come across some nice 15s hit me up lol
EFsedan91LX I'll be selling 2 of my sets within the next 2 months, I'll let you know when I have them up for sale!
Jon Widmer sweet man thanks 😊
Jon Widmer what lip is that on the wagon?
Looks good. I like when tire installers take the time to match up the yellow dots to the valve stem so it doesn't take a ton of weight to balance out.
Right! Smart tire guys are the best! I only go to the same one every time!
I'm always watching your videos like the way it looks the Wagon. Nice work Done👌🏼
Thanks Kelvin!!
digging those rims 😊
They look good on the wagon Jon awesome video
Nice! I almost got these in 15x7 for my hatch a while back. Also, I should have a video this week with the new wheels and tires if you want to see how they fit!
Casey Hardman awesome, I'm subbed to you already! can't wait to see the new look!
They look clean, one of my favorite styles.
NonSense Garage thanks my dude!!
Ya man digging the new wheels! looking sweet, nice stance perfect set up! NICE!👍✌☝
Thanks buddy!!
I love these wheels. I've been looking for these for so long now with no luck :(
King D I got lucky, they popped up on Craigslist, I'd been searching for some 16s for a while.
super clean sir
😎
I think the wagon is the only 4th gen that can pull off a 16", everything else a 15" is the limit as an appearance standpoint. Looks really great, makes it look more modern and aggressive 👍🏾
Integra DIY I almost agree but the sedan also looks great on 16's too. I'm going to try these on my sedan one day before I buy 16's for that car also. But crx's and hatches I only like 15's also.
Beautiful!!!!
The earlier versions were painted on company logo. You have the later versions which are engraved into the wheel. These were called the "Hot Version". Pretty identical I hear that the hot version was an improved casting, but I have not confirmed that rumor. Really nice man. I have a pair of 17x10 +12.
Dude, thanks for that info!! I had a set back in 08 that were 15's and had painted logos, I couldn't believe it when I saw these, only $300 for the set and it really nice shape!!
man you have so many nice cars
Import Fanboy Thanks for that man, I've been lucky to find them and even more grateful for a wife that supports my hobby/addiction!
Some one need to throw an O ring in their hose bib..... Wheels look lovely, just needs a spacer on the back to look "herrafrush"
Underpantsniper That damn thing, I need to replace it!!
nice that's what I'm looking for next is a wagon
Tougher to find sometimes, hopefully you'll find and old man owned one!!
fantastic brotha!!! not a huge fan of 5zigen but they really complete the look nicely. good color too.
Spoon Fixer thanks spoon!
I have a set on my DA9 and I love them.
I bet that looks great!!
Looks good
Nice wheels, I regret not getting my Koing Heliums in bronze. I run 195/50 as well on all my wheels (stock Si, gsr blades & Helium) very comfortable ride especially coming from 195/45 on 15X8 Enkei92 and car slammed on the floor 😳
EK Frank Agreed, the 195/50 is such a good ride and look
Love those
looks fresh
Appreciate it Carlos!
love the wheels. can we get a video on spraying the trim and the bumpers, I think the wago deserves it👌
Right, a few more suspension mods and it'll be time to just detail it. No more work for a while on the wagon!
Fascinating video as always, Jon! I have given up on Instagram; it's just not my thing. Haha. (Yes, I am an old fart.) Perhaps I will just go old school, and stick a post-it note over my license plate, and redo the walk-around vid for you, and post that.
About your wagon, though: man! I love the way you satisfy my curiosity in your vids. I often imagine the things you do in real life, and it really helps to see it, "in the flesh," so to speak. I hope your channel gains tonnes of popularity. You deserve it. So many other RUclipsrs collect scads of money, for what amounts to poop.
Baddest Burrito lmao on the Instagram comment! it's not for everyone. I'm glad you really like the content and love helping out the Honda community. I never started my channel for the popularity/money, just wanted to make some memories for my future self and the DIY stuff just kind of happened one day. Then it started to gain some momentum and now it grows on its own. It's really cool, I just love to share what I know about the cars!
looks good
Appreciate it Roberto!
looks sick bro, sosrry to never said anything else but i got my car painting now :D dont know if you remember me tho lol good luck man !
hugo Rodrigues Of course I remember, the red hatchback from Portugal! glad to see you're still around! you only need to comment when you feel like it!
favorite.
I always thought 16'S on a Ef looked too big....but dam those look awesome on ur wagon Jon.
Thanks Ronnie!
I always thought 16's looked too big on efs, but not this one, I actually really like those. Maybe its just because its a wagon, that could explain why the 16's seem to fit better
Kaden Christensen Yeah, the wagon has such a tall body!
I really like the Bronze. Nice wheels 👍. I'm thinking about running Kosei K1's on my wagon
Josh Wolff Those are awesome. I know Kosei only makes 15's now, but on eBay there are a few of the original Buddy Club versions of the Kosei K-1 in 16x7. I'd definitely consider getting those! If you didn't know Buddy Club makes the Kosei wheels.
I didn't know that. That's probably why I like them so much!
Josh Wolff Right, the K1'S are such a nice style. They've really blown up in the past year, I see a lot of cars with them now and they are such a good price!
good choice!!!
Appreciate that!
Hey Jon! Created an Instagram just to stay updated on your builds! Love the work you're doing man! The wheels look amazing. I feel like black would've looked better with the accents already being such. Still looks mean and clean as always. I might be doing a b20b swap into my 89 Ef soon and had some questions!
Zane Nourse sweet man, I'll follow you back! what do you need help with?
+Jon Widmer Someone with a B20B swapped into their 93 coupe recently wrecked, but the engine and most of the swap components are in solid condition, but I'm concerned about what axles will fit into my 89 ef "hub knuckles" and feedback would help a ton! Thanks!
+Jon Widmer I wanted to know if 90-93 integra axles will work in my 89 hatchback for the swap.
Zane Nourse You're absolutely correct. Both ABS and non-ABS axles will work. As long as you don't have a 4 spd transmission they will work, if not then you'll need different hubs.
+Jon Widmer Nope, I have the 5-Speed out of a 92(or 93 can't quite remember) hatchback (d15b7block) I'm assuming that'll be the correct transmission needed.
While I've got your attention, I'd like your opinion on one last thing, would my Ef be worth doing a mpfi swap from a stock d15b7? Or is it better to invest in a high end si or "aftermarket" intake system?...honestly I have millions of questions too specific for a lot of the Honda forums I've looked on. If you've got the time and patience, it looks like you've got a lot of experience and It'd be awesome to get advice. ✌️✌✌😎 I might save and just invest in a really nice Sohc all motor type setup. Still so many possibilities! Sorry for the novel, peace!!!
love em, I really want those too now aha, what did u do with the buddy clubs?
Clint Eastwood Dedicated track wheel for my 1990 Civic hatchback for now. I had installed brand new Nitto NT01's for the track and I'll be using them until the tires are done.
miss the wagon content 8(
I don't, lol. 😁
Jon my car is not turning the fuel injectors on what could it be could it be a relay or the computer please help it is getting fuel
Hey, I found an RT4WD Wagon for sale near me, are there any problems I should look out for? By the way love your videos keep it up man! 😊
EF_Wagon depends on how the previous owners cared for it. Check for possible severe rust damage. Besides that, all normal usual worn stuff for a 30 year old vehicle 👍🏾
EF_Wagon Also, make sure you can engage/disengage the drive shaft. There is a switch on top of the transmission where you can slide it engage/disengage. It's hard finding transmissions and 4wd parts there days.
i like 16" on EF too cuz when it's lowered, there is a bit more under carriage space. every inch makes a difference. Bronze looks nice especially with the logo etching. I couldn't hear you but how much did you pay for those wheels at ebay? also do you know the weight of each 16x7 wheel?
kracksmith4ejm1 I bought the used off Craigslist. Paid $400 with tire. I sold the old tires for $120 back on Craigslist so only paid $280 for these!
kracksmith4ejm1 weight, around 15-16 lbs each
I have a 95 accord sedan what size tire should I run for my 16x8 wheels there Xxr 530
Whats the offset? And what camber do you plan on running? And what look are you going for?
I've been looking for US 88-89 EF seat rails, and then my RUclips notification went off and it was this. Do you have any of those your trying to sell?
I don't, I'll ask a couple EF buddies in town, if I find any I'll let you know!
Jon Widmer cool man, I was just watching your S2 intake mani install video. Like Coda said, a job I've done several times, but still enjoy watching
Wanting this sz on my nissan truck with yota 4x4 rims 16x7
👍
I know its been a long time but did you like the 195/50/16. I need new tires and am wondering if they will rub while driving.
They were great. Never had an issue and fitment was good on the inside rear wheels arches on the wagon.
@@GarageBuiltHondas oh wow, thanks for the quick reply. Im going for the same look bc I felt on my 205 40 it was too thin. Thank you again
Nice...I felt the same. This size was good for the 16's.
hi brother in what part of Texas are you located? ?
Forrest Gump El Paso!
hey bud. was wondering how the ride is with the 195/50s on there? seeing that youve had a chance to drive a bit in them. Also is there any rubbing going on? im thinking about picking up a set of 16x7s for pretty damn cheap
Anthony Del Rio No rubbing, perfect fit for me. I didn't want the 205/45 because of the bubbly look, and these look perfect. You can't go too low on the rear if you have a wagon like mine otherwise the tires rub the wheel well, but at my ride height it's perfect. It's my favorite setup I've had on my wagon in the way it looks.
Jon Widmer definitely looks good on your wagon. i currently have a set of 15x6.5 Konig Greenlights on 195/55, and can still fill out more of the wheel well. I have a 91 dx wagon sitting on KYB GR2 with Eibach sportline springs unfortunately not being able to adjust my ride height. only concern is filling out the well without rubbing
Anthony Del Rio 195/55/15 is about 23.4 diameter. My 195/50/16 is about 23.7 diameter. It's not even half inch larger total. It will depend on the tire size you get also. Some coilovers might be what you need instead.
Jon Widmer ill definitely have to consider getting some coilovers. i do want to get a larger diameter wheels for sure, so i got some thinking to do on where to invest. maybe some function forms if i do. Appreciate the help and info brotha!
Anthony Del Rio anytime Anthony!!
Does any one know what other suspension fits the wagon I've been trying to find the original one but no luck
Govlin original shocks?
Or any that's fits the wagon
Any 88-91 civic or CRX coilover set will work. If using oem springs, you'll need Wagon specific shocks as the rear springs are longer and need the perch placed lower on the shock.
Jon Widmer thank you
I have Honda Civic EF sedan 1.4 90hp, does this wheels fit on my car, because i think to buy this?
Sava Avas Yes, I think the 16's will fit the sedan well.
Thanks for your reply and just one more question, if the holes on my civic sedan 4x100, and what you think of civic sedan 1.4 90hp for styling.
Sava Avas I think they'll look great on the sedan also
Hey Jon my car stopped running it was turned on and then it stop and I try to turn it on and it's not getting fuel I don't know what could be please help
Bernie Reyes that happen to me and it turned out to be the fuel pump.
Bernie Reyes or the main relay. But fuel pressure the pump before dropping the tank.
Bernie Reyes Make sure it's not empty, turn the ignition to the 2nd position and see if you can hear the fuel pump priming.
I found it, it was a fuse
Jon Widmer thank you Jon
would 15s with 1955015 look odd/wierd on a stock height 91 sedan?
EFsedan91LX not at all
Jon Widmer i just dont want a 4x4 look lol
EFsedan91LX lol I think all EF's look 4x4 with stock suspension.
I purchased 205/50/16 and I’m disappointed with the fitment on my 16” 7j RPF1.
What do you think about 195/45/16? I’m planning to change the tyres to 205/45/16 or 195/45/16
205/45 is one of the most commonly used sizes on 16x7.
@@GarageBuiltHondas what do you suggest on my 7j RPF1? 205/45 or 195/45?
Google those sizes on 16x7. There's a ton of images. Then decide what's best for you.
@@GarageBuiltHondas thank you!!
👍
Do they rub at all?
Zero rub on this setup. 195/50 is thinner than the 205/50
im looking for the same style but in Enkie brand they are black with a blue lip line and i wanna to kinda match the blue color on my 90 sedan.
😁
Alexis Colon I love those too, the RP01, tough to find sometimes but still reasonable in price!
yea i found some in a kinda 60% good but two of then had a 6cm and 4cm crack but fixable and the others two a little bit of corrosion. but im still looking for a 75%-80% good state one. if i dont find em ill just put some old momo's that i have
Alexis Colon As long as you're not tracking the wheels and have at least a 45 series tire on them, when repaired those would be ok. The track abuse would probably break them again and be unsafe.
no no no just daily use.
hahaha im not no confident to use that sedan on the track bcoz he is a younger with 78,850 milles on the body
Alexis Colon perfect, I wouldn't either! lol. If you find that set and get them mounted let me know, I'd love to see them!
take a heat gun to the rear bumper to make it look new
I've tried. Never did to this car and sold it last September.
