These are GOLD! Big fan. Please keep making them! Iceman is my nightly refuge after a long day. Little did you know, almost every night I play one of the Albert Collins live concerts and jam with you and Albert to let loose, have fun, and enjoy the gift of Music. Much love to you and yours!

I have a question. Not many know that he could play really really fast across strings. Some say oh yeah he made up for it with hammer ons just by playing 3 notes on one string before his finger struck the next string and repeat. When I saw him on RUclips playing a fastie, he would play like his picking hand was frozen, moving it up and down the strings or something, almost like his pointer was a plectrum of his own. I do not quite know what was going on there. I would like you to tell us how he did that. In 1979, he played his opening number Listen Here at Montreux. After he plays his octaves, he goes into this really fast riff. On his later performances, he did not repeat anything quite like that.

Right, I’m really sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I had some Healthy emergencies and now I’m I’m back and trying to catch up on emails and life in general.
So a lot of Albert style had to do with the squeezing of the strings of his right hand. He had a technique that was unlike anyone it was about squeezing and batting the strings and that technique he had done for so long, his skill allowed him to phrase at different speeds and with different dynamics and actually punch notes out into a frozen landscape of sound.
🌬️I’m hoping to do some new Albert Collins videos soon and get deeper into the fine details of his icy, frozen and sometimes frosty style that was like no one else…☃️

@@guitartime4U Hello sir. Yeah. I'm not sure if you understood what I quite said there. It's at 2:11-2:17. I don't think a lot of people know that he could do something like that. ruclips.net/video/3QGfqkZeiA8/видео.html&ab_channel=JustPro
