Someone told me you could record voices in the home and hear them later. But i think thats invadeing privacy. Can any of the alexa devices out there do that?

Is this only to control entities with Alexa or can you show what Alexa actually controls in Home Assistant? For example I have an Amazon smart plug which I guess doesn't integrate directly with HASS, but Alexa controls it, so wondering if then it can be added to HASS to be controlled.

Shucks! Using HA Cloud? I’m having trouble getting Alexa integrated with my HA and I’m using super old tutorials and such. Maybe there’ll be a few tips in this though. Hope someone makes an updated/current how-to for manual/free integration.

I would be interested in monitoring the photovoltaic system, I thought of using Z-WAVE CLAMP POWER METER, but I saw that you can use PVOutput by connecting the inverter to the LAN network and registering to the PVoutput portal, do you have any experience in the field? Thanks for your suggestions

I've already integrated alexa through the HA cloud, it was all very easy. Now, when there are some events sending notices to telegram, is it possible to send them via alexa?
Question regarding the HA Dashboard, for instance if I tell Alexa to switch off living room lights, will the dashboard respond by switching the lights off or will the status on the dashboard not change?
Yeah but is it worth $5 a month? It seems a bit high. I only ask because other hubs there is a 1 time cost of between $60 and $100 for the hub and Alexa integration is included.

@@derekcfoley I did finally get it, but forgot how exactly I did it. Every time things reboot I have to log in and reauthorize but it’s a shortcut so only takes a second. I think the google assistant is better for speaking, but I don’t have any of those.

There is. I have done that 3 years back. Now amazon developer UI is very different I can’t re-create my Haaska skill.

It will update base on the status of the entity.
