4th Gen Toyota 4Runner (2003-2009) - Pinch Weld Mod!

In this video I go through the steps I take to flatten the pinch welds in my 4th gen 4Runners (2003-2009). If you are looking to get to bigger tires (34’s and up) this is something you 100% have to do to get the clearance you need.
I would highly recommend doing this mod with the suspension out as that way you can hit the pinch weld and firewall without fear of striking your coils!

I followed this today! Great idea to make cuts down the seam, I never would've thought to do that.
But I broke every single one of my fender liner clips 😂 I'm not very good with old brittle plastic

Honestly either way will work, whatever way you get more clearance with is what id advise.
