Hey GB. Hope you are doing well. May God keep you safe during these times. I found your video after purchasing this particular model. It was the last semi auto pistol in stock due to the scare. Your video has helped introduce me to the purchase properly. My past guns were mostly European like HK VP9 and I had a CZ at one point. Never used them, they were just kept securely in the home just in case. It was either Kahr P9 or 2 used police service glocks. I am praying the gun will offer good protection! Thanks for the video sincerely. I have never heard of this company as I am not really a gun person to be quite honest.

i have this firearm, and it is great! galloway precision makes a metal striker and springs to lighten up the trigger.

The P9 also has dovetail front and rear sights along with the polygonal rifled barrel and the different slide markings and slide radius edges.

I had a cw380 that did the same thing and had to send it back. No problems after that but ended up selling. Definitely disappointing. Never had a problem with my CM9 after about 450 rounds

    Great vid on the Kahr!
I like both Kahr CM and Beretta nano. The nano is a bit cheaper than even the CM9, and actually more reliable. Both require break-in, but the nano got reliable faster, and I trust it overall more, as the Kahr is a bit more finicky with mags and grip etc. The nano mag follower/slide lock plunger is better design, and overall mag construction better. Kahrs are known to be crappy mag designs even when the guns themselves are praised. People get used to the mags, even if they also tend to unload themselves without proper mag pouches to seal them. The nano is cheaper, yet seams to have a much better frame material, and finishing looks a lot better on the nano. The nano has a heavier trigger but its crisper as well, though the kahr trigger is better overall because it doesn't have the safety blade, and it doesn't bite the finger that pulls it, the nano will give you a blood blister. The striker cam design is almost exactly the same between the two, so much so that Kahr has or is attempting to sue Beretta for patent infringement. The only real difference is the safety blade on the nano. I still like the nano best for summer carry, but the kahr is really fun to shoot. Both are equally accurate, slight edge to the kahr for accuracy. I think that has a lot to do with the 1911/high power/smith wesson 3913 style combo takedown lever/slide release, though good barrel helps to. I like the nano's heavy walled barrel though. One thing people criticize the nano, is the way the bore seems quite high, and it feels like the grip wants to jump out of your paw, like a small fish slipping out of your grip. It has an odd curve to it, but once used to it, there's no detriment to high bore, and both it and the PM9 have the same controlability with the short two-finger hold. I also am used to and love the lack of external slide release on the nano. That's another criticism, but its reliable and I love it for either IWB or pocket carry. The nano frame swapping is not really that easy as the way the Sig p320 is, because the internal fire control parts separate when removed, whereas the P320 FC stays together as a unit. So I figure swap frame colors once, and leave it together. If you really need to clean out the frame every once in a while, you can take the FC parts out of the nano frame, but otherwise leave it alone. BTW, The FC and rails removal from the frame is another difference between the nano and the Kahr, as the kahr has the rails fixed to the frame, only springs and cam, and trigger bar/trigger can come out with punches.

Kahr polymer weapons have stainless inserts built into the frame. The slide rides on those not the polymer.

Thank you. If you're new to our format we do tabletop and shooting separately. The tabletop gives you the up close views, "shooting impressions" is when we take it to the range and let you know what we think.
