That was a fantastic first episode. This series gives me Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Homeland, The Americans, Cold War-era espionage Noir, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Battlestar Galactica, Men in Black, and John Carpenter's The Thing vibes. Gravik has no chill and brutal villain. What he did to Maria Hill was cold-blooded.
For me, the biggest moment of suspense was Gravik succeeding his plan and shooting Maria while disgusting himself as Nick. However, my favorite part was Gi’ah pulling herself together to warn her father.
I am living in Moscow all my life and this is most accurate interpretation of my city in western movies, because there's no such thing like snow through home's windows like it was in second iron man et cetera, but architecture still not very close (if we speak not about major views of the city, which is accurate), and in some shots city looking more poor and dirty, than it is in real life, and the phrase that "Black man in Moscow at night" made me laugh, because Moscow is a big city and night life in clubs and pubs is a big paet of it, for example is central city there are many people all day and there many people of colour also)) And also I laught when I saw people in night club dancing with hats on their head 😂😂 But overall this is still better than in most of interpretation of Moscow in movies, it's ashame that Marvel couldn't shoot these scenes in real Moscow because of political events😢

really irritates me that they killed off Maria Hill. She was really great in the role. Hope they bring her back
