I am obsessed with these adorable articulated figures/dolls so much 😍 They are so cute, highly detailed, and expertly crafted 😊 So perfect for pictures in cute dioramas or even just placing on a shelf to admire them and make you smile 😌 I’m building shelves so I can collect as many as I can ✨💖✨
Yesssss! I've been wanting to get a couple of peetsoon campus boys from kikagoods and there are so many beautiful mermaid girls. So glad you found them!
To avoid losing the chess piece, get some museum wax and affix it on the piece and the doll or shelf that you want to put it on so it doesn’t disappear 😊 It’s very strong and won’t damage the piece or the doll ✨💖✨
@@korofelthanks for that tip on changing the hands 😊 I’m new to the dolls and am trying to figure it all out while avoiding the messy people in the community 😉
@@Ms.D-loves-minis3 as with any hobby, there are some people that are messy/elitist/gatekeepy and they are a small, but loud, percentage. The rest of us are normal, we just like big, expensive dolls. lol what helps with larger dolls are locking forceps to keep the elastic in place and something called a string puller can be used for restringing (for smaller dolls, a teeny tiny latch hook can help with restringing). I also love my head puller which helps pull the s hook in the neck so that it can be properly positioned in the head. Regardless of size, just take your time with it. Remember if the elastic comes loose, you haven’t ruined your doll. It’ll be okay. A lot of these blind box dolls come with diagrams these day that can be referred to if you need it.
the word you were looking for is centaur to describe the half horse dolls. the minotaur is the bull-man creature from greek myth (like manny from monster high)
Mermaid and Minotaur are my favorites of this collection due to the detail in the designs and the extras included ❤ All of the dolls are adorable, but those definitely stand out as superior quality to me ✨💖✨
I got the six pack of mermaids and the six pack of dragons. So. Cute! 🥰 I stopped there because I have a preference for the glossy/glazed finish versus the bisque/matte finish. Can't wait to finish setting up the whole collection. (Renovating and making space)
Love your review! I have a few of this style of tiny doll and I was blown away by the quality and details. I prefer inset eyes as well, and I would love it if they would do a series with “real” hair instead of the molded. The top heaviness is the only thing I don’t like about all these kinds of dolls.
as a bjd collector who completed their collection (got the dolls i wanted and stopped) i started to get some fashion dolls but now i'm back to blind box bjds which is something i never thought i'd get, cheap bjd's...in blind boxes with better clothes then the fashion doll market.
Since some have cloth clothes, they really need to add hair, or at least the option to buy separately. The hair is very Figure vs Doll to me. I don't collect anything, but if these guys had hair it would be a game changer to me. I really was never on youtube much before Covid, but being home and board, seeing the new Rainbow High dolls with actual accessories (not plastic unpainted ones).
I’d never thought about that since they’ve always had the molded hair but you’re so right 🙂 They should have the option to remove the molded hair and add a head cap to make it possible for wigs and hair play ☺️ That would be a lot of fun 😊
@@maroyamoon yeah there are several companies that make headbacks for their blind box dolls so you can get/make wigs. It’s just (for me) at this size, wigs often don’t scale well or fall naturally.
The sheep dollis a mjd (mechanical joint doll) and the bonnie , mermaid are bjd stringed dolls. I think mjd use a different type of plastic material. I told myself id never get into his Bjdbit I have two from kikagoods and I plan on getting to more this holiday season.

Around ten years ago I started watching toy you tube channels. You’re one of only two creators that are still around! Nice job 👍
Ha ha ha these little guys are like a gateway drug into bjd.
I’ve been in the bjd hobby since 2008 and I’m frankly so glad to see new blood coming into the hobby via blind box bjd/mjd.
Also what helps with bjd for changing hands is putting something like a paper clip in the elastic loop to keep it from dropping into the arm.

Beautiful doll

Gurlllllll. If you change your hair (tho your hair is always perfect) what about a face framing bob with an undercut!!! I’d liveeeee.

So kikagoods is a market place for bjd minis?
