I actually think for the price you get a lot of full size products. Mac products aren’t cheap and if you added up the individual cost of all the items together the value would come to way more than you paid .
They used to include classics like velvet teddy and an iconic red of some kind, I feel like if they added those in place of a few of the lustre glass lipsticks and that eyemask it would be grand.

I think the lipstick shades are warm vs cold shades; they lack variety, but it is the 'everyone can find something for them' strategy. The huge matte ones are quite obvious, especially when you put them side by side. One is more coral-orange pink, while the other is pinkpink - both more on the nude side, to be technically the same, just for different undertones. I wasn't sure about the 3, but yeah, it's the same situation. The tiny red one is just different. It looks more neutral tone, but these tend to look very pink on the lips ... And the 2 'glossy' (I don't remember their name, sorry), the deeper pink-red is cold, and the lighter is neutral-warm pinkish. :) Basically, you got just 3 lipsticks if you're strictly cold or warm undertone (and if you care), all six for mix if you're ok with it.

Ah the annual Mac box of disappointment. They must be getting good reviews SOMEWHERE to keep this up.. Also love your sarcasm 😂 "what did we do to deserve such size"
This did look better than calenders from the past. It would have benefitted from a better variety of shades. Nuetrals and maybe more christmassy colours mixed. Like a good red lipstick then may a pink based nuetral and a brown based red or neutral. A pop of colour with the eyeshadow with christmas colours red, green cold and fo on. For rhis price you expect it to try appeal to everyone. This didnt. The mascara was good and looked good on you. Sometime the more pricey the calender the less you get for you money. But this was better.
The creators of the calendar were too carefull in choosin the products which fit to everyone, so it comes our boring. I think, in advent calendars there must be some unusual products, which one will not just normally buy. But there is a chance to try and evaluate finding it in the calendar.
It’s a shame that the products were way too similar, they should’ve thrown in like a red or like nice festive colours for people who wanna do Christmas looks, also those small skin care stuff like wtf I feel that’s smaller than any mini or sample I’ve ever tried
Honestly dont mind the products and it's a cute box. It's probably a deal for the lot but for $225 USD I'd rather just go buy a few specific products I really want 😅
I don’t think people realize that most Mac products are between 20 and 50 dollars. I look at this lineup and the shade range for the lip products suck but I’d say they’re probably losing money. They have to make a margin so to me they’ve giving way more than they should for how much their products cost individually.
