I bought a Galaxie A21 the guy just bought another phone continued with Straight Talk he only used it 3 months. Even though he continued with Straight talk buying a new phone they want me to pay 90.00 to unlock the phone. He paid for the phone I paid him for the phone.

You can try but if not just use it on straight talk and wait the waiting period and it will unlock. Straight talk uses Verizon if you got the Verizon sim and phone
What if you bought a cheap pre-paid Tracfone phone in full, but haven't activated the service yet? Does that bypass the unlock clause since the service was never activated in the first place?
It probably would fall into the "defrauding tracfone or its customers" thing. Of course you probably aren't trying to do this but some would be inclined to get a deal on a phone for like 100 dollars off full price, not activate it so they don't pay for the service, then unlock it and get it for super cheap and then resell it for more. So I would say because they don't want people to do this they don't allow it. This is just conjecture, I'm sure theres an official statement on it somewhere.

Straight talk is strictly Verizon. Straight Talk sent me 12 month April 25, 2021 they still won't unlock.

I did the unlocking after the 13 month policy. Yes they unlocked but.... you can not change the APN settings. It's unlocked but will only operate on straight talk. An unlocked phone you can change APN setting.

I read the pamphlet that came with my phone that I purchased at Walmart it says for Apple devices purchased on or after 11/23/21 will automatically be unlocked after 60 days after activation.
Non-Apple devices ST will provide an unlock code under 3 conditions.
1. Purchaseed and activated on or after 11/23/21 then a least 60 days must have elapsed since the device was activated.
2. The device must be in working condition.
3. The device has not been reported stolen or lost, and there are jot indicators of fraud.
Below applies to both Apple and Android,
Any device activated prior to 11/23/21 will need to be active for 12 months or more to be unlocked.
If you have not met the required minimum period of active ST service, ST may unlock your device, but you WILL incur a charge of up to $300, depending on how long your service was active prior to the unlocking request.
ST may refuse any unlocking request that would result in an abuse of its unlocking policy or is part of an effort to defraud ST or it's customers. They can change unlocking policy at any time without notice.

So what about since straight talk went to all phones that have to be 5g now what about the phones that are not 5g since you can't use them on straight talk anymore. I think it's horse shit that being I was an customer with straight talk for over 5 years that they won't take that into consideration. Plus the phone I had with them doesn't even work on there service anymore. So maybe find out about that in there stupid policy. My daughter went to T-Mobile and just happen to get me on her plan for nothing. All I've wanted to do is use the phone I was using on T-Mobiles plan. Straight talk sucks.

Do you honestly think that a free program would allow you to unlock devices and access iCloud data- just reading the whole description in the reply to this post is ridiculous - Bypass via IMEI- first of all only devices that have sim cards have IMEI numbers so how can you possibly “unlock” iPads and iPods that don’t have an IMEI

Yes. No ADs here. We all know that an iCloud locked iPhone is worthless. So, there are many unlocking services that claim they can remove iCloud Activation Lock with paid service. I just tried a third-party tool called Tenorshare 4MeKey, you can use it on a Windows or iMac. The operation on Windows is a little bit tricky, easy on Mac instead. But *MOE* Has more success rate that is high

Straight Talk is a bunch of Thieves. A couple months ago the tray that holds the SD card and SIMs card was broken. They told me to send them the phone and they will send me a new one. I had a TCL 30 XL. I paid $174 for it. I put a $45 card on it and used it for two or three days and then the tray got broke. So I sent them the phone and to this day they will still not send me one. They're telling me that they don't have one to send me. This is been going on for a couple months. They told my case manager at the mental facility that they would send me $100 phone until they obtained another TCL. Wait 3 to 5 business days. That was told me 5 different times. I have still yet to receive a phone. When I sent the phone I told them if they don't send me another phone to please send the old phone back. They said they can't send that phone back to me. So now I have no phone with Straight Talk. I keep getting messages saying I'm going to lose my number because I'm not re-upping my phone. I can't afford a lawyer. I don't know what I'm supposed to do now. My case manager cannot help me because it is a legal matter. I have the dates and times of all the phone calls. They not only lied to me on recordings they lied to my case manager on the phone as well. They're basically ripping me off. So all I can basically do is start flooding a bunch of different videos and message boards about what they have done to me. They must not be God fearing people. Because what they're doing is wrong. They should not be taking advantage of people with low income that can't afford to fight back. So please file some charges against me for posting all this stuff and recording conversations so I can get in front of a judge and tell my story about how s***** you guys are. Straight Talk should be ashamed of themselves and when the day of judgment comes they shall not pass for what they are doing. I have the receipt when I sent the phone I have all the dates and times I called them I have my case manager that was lied to you as well. It's one lie after another just prolonging it thinking I will just give up. I'm not going to give up. All I have is time on my hands
