The fact that this view only has 8 views and no other comments besides the creator is honestly disappointing. I really liked this video, even though I am somewhat familiar with the Maxwell GPU the Switch uses. The boatload of games using the hardware to make incredible experiences combined with “miracle ports” like The Witcher 3, Doom Eternal, and Nier Automata (I _still_ can’t believe that game is on Switch) makes me hopeful for the future of Nintendo as far as quality third-party support goes. To add some feedback, I would’ve loved if you talked about the GPU some more and got more specific with its specifications and capabilities in comparison to the specs of the PS5, Xbox Series consoles, as well as the PS4, Xbox One, and both their mid-gen refreshes to get a better picture of how honestly insane it is for the Switch to be doing so well even on the cusp of its successor in 2025 (plus the possibility of cross-generation titles). I guess what I’m saying is I’d love if this video provided a better technical understanding of its hardware in the context of both current and last generation consoles (heck, maybe even the Wii U since it almost feels like Nintendo’s “PS3 moment” in regards to the fact that it was hard to develop for). Regardless, this video is great!
Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback! I was even thinking myself that I should have dove into specifics more as well as comparisons after I rewatched the video when it was done. I will definitely do that in the future and may make a follow up video on the Switch to do just that! I love this little console.
Thanks for watching :)
