- After having discovered a boost leak in the intercooler, I bought an upgraded alloy intercooler of ebay for around $400. It took us approximately 2 hours to install. Installation done by my brother: Mobile Auto-repairs Sydney 0411119171
the raditor is very easy to remove and gives you so much more room to work
What brand intercool was they mate. Great video to guys
Hey there, can I ask, is it bigger than the original? i.e an upgrade with more volume or is it essentially a replica of the factory unit in size? Cheers
Hi so it's essentially the same size and so fits in the same original slot. It's an upgrade in that it's built better and is less prone to wear and damage than the original factory intercooler
@@bashirk Thanks, just got a NW and found the intercooler has been bashed in the past so will need replacing at some point, for $400 I'd give it a go instead of paying the mechanic to do the job.
I've seen some listed on eBay and you need to check the length of the pipe, how do I know the length of my pipe, I have a 2013 NW Auto.
The one I ordered came with an extender pipe so as to cover both short and long

I'm running a fuel rail/boost control box which mage a huge difference
@@redsnapper2889 not sure atm. It's running smooth at the moment but I know I can get it better. I should get the tune done.
