Very good Work Young Lady. When I were very Young. My Grandmother would Crochet my Winter Gloves and Winter Woolen Socks. She also would take Measurements and Crochet and Net together a Fine Winter Coat adding a Thick Fur Lining for the Coat, Socks and Gloves. The Apparels were all done in a non-Itch Wool. I didn't know it till much later in Life that it took Her an Entire Year to complete the Clothing for each coming Winter to Cloth Myself and My two brothers. She would present these Fine Articles of Winterwear every Year around My Birthday which was in October. Let me say, those Articles of Clothing were the best I've ever had. They were the Warmest Clothing because of the way She Crafted each part. She always placed a very fine Liner between the Wool and Skin. The Gloves were done as a One Thumbed Mitt. The Coat Head Cover was Fur Lined with pulldown Ear Covers and Snapped under the Chin. Also She put into her Coat design a Face Cover that you Slid Down over the Head around the Neck before putting the Coat on. When the Wind and Cold would Bite at your Nose and Mouth, all you needed to do was just pull Cover up and around your Face and up over your Nose placing Coat Hood in place and Snapping under the Chin. She did all this up until I was 17. She had gotten very Old and couldn't do this anymore. But this is where I learned how to Net and Crochet. I've never Obtained the degree of Skills She had. She was a good Soul and I miss Her very much. We would find a Child in need, and I would present that previous Years Winterwear to them as a Gift so they too would enjoy a very Warm Playful Winter to come. I Enjoy Your Video's. I do hope you can and will continue your work and sharing with all willing to learn this fine craft.

As always you do fantastic work. I really like this! I was thinking a nice finish 👝 to this would be a button instead of a string 🧶. I don’t think it would be very difficult to make a loop 🪢 on the front and to sew 🪡 🧵 a button on as a fastener 💌. Thanks for sharing!

    P. S. I made a couple tiny pouches for keeping earbuds. I made sewed up the sides differently for each one. The 1st one, I whip stitched. The 2nd one, I single crocheted. The one that I single crocheted, held it's shape better.

Very neat pattern! The United States DK is almost as thick as a UK worsted. And it's hard to find #2 yarns here. So frustrating. I will try this one day with a #2. Take care and keep thriving in your new home 🤗❤️

    I love your videos!!!
Was wanting to make a lovely pencil case that was an easy one.
I'm so loving the new pattern, I've never done this before, but I'm so chuffed with it.
I got some craft beads that I'm gonna put on the tie of the pencil case.
Thanks again for your video. 😃

Awesome pattern and tutorial. I noticed long ago that you hold your yarn much differently than everyone else. I tried it but I just couldn't get the hang of it. 😂 It was rather funny at the time. LOL. Anyway, thank you so much. I've missed you. Glad you are doing well. ✌🏻🐾🥰🧶🇺🇸

  • @kayceegreer4418

Perhaps a row of single crochets with picots in contrasting color on the outside free edge opening?
Ideally, the fabric that gets folded on the inside should be one row shorter than the fabric on on the outside . . . That way, it doesn't curl up on the corners... But then you don't get any contrast on that free edge which looks nice.
SOOO, Maybe at least a nice contrast color slip stitched onto the top of that edge would look nice using a larger hook so that it will be looser and won't bunch up like the sides did a little.
BTW , I would have used the larger hook for the slip stitching all the way around..it will wear better in the long run.

I like the wrap bag but not sure how it holds hooks? If they’re just thrown in then the wrap need not be as big. However if it was sectioned that may work but the wrap would be better wrapped side to side. Pretty stitch though. Definitely give. Me ideas. Thanks from Australia 🐨🦘😷

Glad to inspire! I use these for my random non every day hooks, they do stay loose in the bag but the added roll is good for protecting them.
