- Little something different today.. in this video we modify the standard low pressure fuel basket by installing a larger flowing pump. This pump in particular is a Bar-tek 590lph which will give us the required fuelling needed to feed the stage 3 fuel demands!
I hope some of you find this useful! I know I was looking for a video of something just like this

Thanks for doing this Wosa! really helpful, I may just do my own too when I come to stage 3
Does Fuel Control Unit requires any upgrade with this fuel pump? how wires manages the extra current with out no rising temperature? does this requires to custom remap the ECU?
Yeah this is next level bravery - I wouldn’t dare attempt it 🤣 good work though man - made it look easy.
😂 Clever trick of the camera - it wasn’t me, it was a stunt Mechanic
@@wosa9461 🤣 the Wosa budget stretches far these days
No expense spared in this channel!
Hello Wosa !! I have a question i would put on a upgrade lpfp in my auto s3 8v 2015 wil it start popping up codes? If i do?
How much do you charge to fit these
Nice how to man, not sure confident enough to get that job done myself though, too much cutting involved. Looking forward to see if it needed any changes or not software wise.
Without the software tweak it was pulling a fuel controller temp fault, it’s sorted now but still throwing a fuel pump mechanical fault so there is more coding to be done. Car is mental now though!
is it not much easier just to buy a genuine TTRS/RS3 LPFP?!
It’s not I’m afraid - the RS fuel pumps are brushless, to run these require an upgraded PWM fuel controller (circa £700-800) as the OEM S3 controller will not be compatible
How did it end up? Worked with oem controller?
Hi matey - yes this pump and the Walbro 450 pump will both work off the OEM controlled, they do draw a lot more current than the stock controller can handle though so these pumps do need to have the duty cycle reduced on them to around 70% so as not to burn out the controller - a good tuner/mapped will do this
The best LPFP for power under 570bhp is the APR 305lph - this pump works 100% off the stock OEM without the need for software tweaks
