- Welcome back guys, since we missed the initial install of my LPFP due to the SD card corrupting on my camera - I thought it would be a good opportunity to show you a LPFP install after building one for a customer and installing in to my car to test before it was sent off.
Some great content coming up in the next few days as I've been struggling with a few problems - but all is now sorted! excited to do this next video for you all! Авто/Мото
Doing this in the dark!!! what a legend!
24/7 Wosa - superhero. Can’t believe you did that in the dark! I would even consider it in perfect sunshine 🤣🤣
Now... should I use my powers of “night time working with fuel” to fight crime?
@@wosa9461 I’ll be honest - that sounds more likely that you’re going to COMMIT crime 🤣
😂😂😂
Nice one man, hard to not do jobs in the dark at the minute!
Hate this time of year!
Top video as always. Next time night vision camera 📸😉
Do you not have your old forces issued ones I can borrow?
Mate only just seen this been hiding in the bushes 😂
I own a 2015 Audi s3 and I have had an issue with the car for almost 2 years. I have been to 5 different mechanics including 2 Audi dealerships and 3 European shop experts and not a single one has been able to figure out what’s wrong. I have spent thousands of dollars on what they suspected was wrong but I am still getting fault codes and my car still barely starts. If you are willing to take on this challenge I will compensate you for your time. If not, any advice in the right direction would be highly appreciated. I do not know where else to turn.
The problem:
When starting the car it takes 3-5 times to push the ignition before the car turns over. It generally just sputters and then shuts off. Occasionally, at idle the car will just shut off. When it doesn’t shut off the idle is very rough and I can feel the whole car shaking. I don’t really notice a lack of performance once the car is started, although the more aggressively I drive the harder it is to start the next time. I have had the fuel pump replaced and the carbon cleaned from the engine. The dealer stated those would both fix the problem and they both did not work. I can go into more detail about what each mechanic told me if you are interested.
The fault codes are:
System too rich at idle bank 1
02 Sensor negative current control circuit/open bank 1 sensor 1
Cylinder 1 misfire detected
Cylinder 4 misfire detected
System too rich at idle bank 1 (permanent)
I will provide you with any additional information you need and can go into much more detail about what each mechanic said.
Thank you

Swapped out pump assy and now getting no fuel reading. Both red led low lights are blinking.
Did u figure this out?
Pump it up!
Sup Biggs! will come online for a chat soon - have big things in motion at the moment!
What symptoms would you get if a lpfp is bad would you get a hum noise from the rear back seat behind the driver?
Symptoms would be either no start or low pressure (below 5 bar) on idle - the humming noise is the pump working as it should
@@wosa9461 okay and what about if your driving and you hear that same similar noise in the rear driver side?
Is this a stock pump? And are the rear seats still in place?
The pump is always running providing the engine is running, but you shouldn’t really be able to hear a stock pump whirring seats - upgraded ones are louder and you would possibly hear them operating
@@wosa9461 Yhh rear seats still in place I was driving yesterday and noticed it I don’t know if that’s normal to hear the pump while driving I’m the rear it’s not loud but I noticed the noise when I driving yesterday with music off
Do you have a link for the LPFP you sell mate? I'm running stage 3 with 485bhp on my S3 8v too bang same style as yours. I'm running a Venom 550 hybrid turbo so looking for more power in future :D
Hi matey! I build and sell these pumps to specification - depending on what your target power is and what your budget is
You can message my business page “AresTuningLimited” on Facebook for more info 😎👍🏻
What power is the APR pump good for?
It’s good for up to 560bhp - could probably fuel for much higher, but in all honesty if I was taking it beyond 560bhp I would look at getting the Walbro 450
@@wosa9461 Thanks! one more question - if its a lower powered pump and yet it seems more expensive than the walbro or bartek, they why this pump?
@@johnconnel8356 This APR pump draws less current than the 450 Walbro or bartek 590, both the walbro and bartek can cause potential issues with the stock fuel controller if they aren't correctly programed by an experienced tuner, the APR pump needs very little tweaking and runs on the stock fuel controller quite happily
@@wosa9461 Thanks Wosa! very helpful information as usual
How much are these fuel pumps mate
I’ve got the a3 8v 1.8tfsi Quattro s-tronic
