I am pushing 40 with kids so I rarely treat myself to anything these days. I'm not the kid I was in 2004. That being said, I'm glad I made an exception for this night.

The whole band is amazing but Jason, Brian, and Jon in particular are beasts.
Matt is one of unsung heroes of metal riffs.
Saw them open for KSE when Jesse came back and they did the Alive Or Just Breathing anniversary tour. What an era of music! Happy to see it coming back around!
Shads are sounding great!! Jon especially, nailing all of the solos from a tough album! These guys really shine in a venue this size - come tour the West Coast
Dude. Jon was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He fukin shredded every note on that guitar line it owed him $50 and refused to pay! 😭

The show was absolutely insane to say the least, getting demolished right near the barrier to hear some of the greatest metalcore songs of all time was so worth it.
Hope to see these guys again real soon after the new record is done. 😌

Dude I still listen to this album.ill never forget buying the cd in hot topic and putting it on my stereo at my house, that first track double bass blew me away
I discovered shadows fall in 2005 at 12 years old. these guys have kept their CHOPS UP!!!! i have no idea if they use any fx tracks, but those guitar solos are grade A beef. they sound incredible. so many bands that were promoted to the masses of teenagers in the 2000s sound like crap now, and in retrospect a lot of them actually didn't sound very good back then...
The War within, One of my top favorite metal albums of all time. Its a damn shame Ive never seen them live.

First Shadows Fall song I ever heard was “In Effigy” on headbangers ball. Made my parents buy me the album that weekend - been a fan since. That was 2006. This makes me SO nostalgic. Hoping to see them live soon for the first time🤘🏽

The WSOU chick needed to wait until the projector screen was elevated before she started talking. She also spoke so low, while I can hear her here, I couldn't hear a damn thing where I was.
Otherwise, this was a fucking EXPERIENCE. The last time I saw SF was on Ozzfest 2005 at PNC, so it'd been FAR too long since I've seen them. I don't need to tell anyone here that TWW is the band's most important album. So, to hear them play the record in its entirety was a fucking GIFT for waiting so long.

Thank you so much for filming this show since it's so special and was so far away from me! I'm sure the people behind you weren't thrilled that you filmed the whole show, so they have my gratitude as well. I don't normally condone filming an entire show, but for something like this, it's different.
Also coming from someone who also does a lot of photography this is a really well done video. Video and Audio both about as good as you can hope for in this environment! Was this a phone, or a dedicated camera?
A phone. And I only record full shows for special events like this.

@@Dubzero946 Having been to more shows than I can count, it's likely not that a girl was up front, it was that everyone crowd surfing thought they were still their 2004 weight and took the Same. Exact. Path. to the front of the stage. After a while it sucks to get landed on every 30 seconds.

Yeah normally I'm with you, don't film too much or it's obnoxious. This show is kind of an exception though, since it's a one time run through of a bunch of rare songs no one else is going to be able to see in person.
@@singemfrc Taking a few photos or a video snippet of your favorite song, totally get that. The WHOLE show is just selfish though. People behind you paid just as much to get in as you did. They shouldn't be punished for trying to live in the moment and enjoy what is happening live in front of them. You're literally AT the show. Enjoy the show.
@@IHateNicolasCage Yeah again for almost every show, I agree with you 100%. When I film, I usually pick 1 or 2 songs in the set to film and limit it to that. I wouldn't film an enture show because my arms wouldn't last anyway 😂
I could overlook it this one time because of the uniqueness. And from what I can see, the photographer does seem to be doing his best to keep his phone as low as he can and not block other people. It seems to be in front of his face more than it's over his head, so it seems like he's trying not to be a dick as much as possible.
I love this band, I love War Within, I wish I could have been at that show. Shockingly good audio, smart move standing on John’s side. Thanks for posting.
