    Absolutely adore the clutches you are getting out of this male.
    I really like the high contrast hatchling with the distinctive spotting. I'm gonna have to purchase one from you someday. Every time you or Snake Discovery do a clutch reveal I get super excited.💚 I really don't know how you part with any of them.
    The boa is beautiful, I've seen the adult version and I have a hard time believing how much they darken.
    I suck at naming pets though, I usually go with story book characters.

  • @wildcardcreatures3053
    @wildcardcreatures3053 4 года назад +5

    I'm super happy for you getting the Ackie man! Definitely my favorite in the video, I'd love to have Ackies some day. I feel like naming him kind of depends on whether he'll ever be used for educating children or not. My suggestion if not is Darwin because Ackies' adaptations are pretty awesome considering they're monitors. If he's going to be used to educate kids I'd suggest Big Bird. Because it's ironic and apparently birds are reptiles. Also, you've referred to Ackies as tiny velociraptors on more than one occasion.

    NAMING IDEAS!:
    Peruvian Boa - Cuzco for the Peruvian emperor from The Emperor's New Groove
    Ackie - Eddie because like Eddie Murphy in 1986, he is your golden child. Also, "Eddie the Ackie" is just fun to say.

    ACKIE BUILD!!
    Also, I hereby request "Loose their Christmas" become a thing...because it immediately made me think of the shiny, brightly colored baubles on a Christmas tree, and all the fancy lights and decorations. So it very aptly communicated a baby snake loosing it's bright, shiny, crisp colors as it ages. (Also, you can think of it as loosing some of what made it "exciting", kinda like how a kid looses interest in a Christmas present after a while.) It really is a fantastic way of communicating that idea.

I always thought I would get a normal/wild type ball python, but I fell in love with a friendly little guy at an expo and got him without realizing he was pretty fancy. He's banana, enchi, Mojave, and pastel. His patterning is a beautiful light yellow and orange-yellow, he has silver eyes, and at almost two years old, has just a few cute little freckles instead of the full-blown banana spots. I chose him for his wonderful personality, but the more I find out about morphs, the more I realize he's a pretty spectacular snake. Thank you for the thorough explanations!

    Congratulations! I would love to see the enclosure build. I think the snake who hasn’t shed yet is my favorite.

    Wow, in the middle of the video I got an advertisment video telling me that reptiles don't belong in a household, because they are wild animals and we can never create the wide area that they normaly live in.

    Awesome little Longicauda girl. Mine is a year old and named Sasha. The coloring up takes FOREVER on these snakes, but it's been 100% worth the wait!. When she sheds, she has a brilliant, green iridescence on her whole body. My girl is anery, so it'll be interesting to see yours as she grows into her colors because most of the adults I've seen are anery and end up with brilliant black and white striping.
