If you were making a 2D animated film about Samus, I think this is the sort of artstyle that would fit her best. It has that self-series yet pulpy feeling that harkens back to the covers of old Sci-Fi novels. A Samus in this style is one I could take seriously as a one-woman-army intergalactic bounty hunter.
kind of you to say - I always felt an Aeon Flux/ Moebius type of look would fit best- but with the tone of what you're describing
@@RudeJackArt| Oooh! I hadn't considered a Moebius sorta style, but now you've got me envisioning Metroid Prime animated like Adult Swim's "Scavengers" short.
Actually, going for that low-to-no dialogue style would also be a fun direction. I've always liked the idea of Samus speaking rarely, and only saying exactly what she deems necessary.

When we are hearing the typical soundtrack, Samus is hearing this as she wipes out the space pirates. Heck they hear this song slowly coming up the hallway and they are like "OH SHIT IT'S HER! WE ARE GONNA DIE BOYS!!!!!!"

A damn good game, except for the final section. I got to the second phase of the final boss, died, and realised the last save point was far enough back that I'd have to trudge through that huge cavern full of fission metroids to have another shot, which was enough to make me pack it in. They aren't fun to fight, take so long to kill that it breaks up the flow between failing and retrying the actual final boss fight, and are too aggressive for you to just run past and ignore.

No it’s inspired by Kim Basinger mainly - the actress Samus is based on
