He wanted to believe in and serve the Death Guard, despite being Terran born and scorned for it. But he saw that they were turning away from the old ways, so his belief wavered. And when Saul warned him of the betrayal, he chose him over his orders, which many of the DG wouldn't do. It's not just a game to me. I spent my childhood unable to afford this hobby, or most anything else, we were too poor. As an adult I spent several years in Iraq and when I came back I was desperate for a mental escape, Warhammer provided that. When the stars fell, when the seas boiled and the earth burned, my faith didn't die. That is when I began to believe. God was real, and he hated us. ......that gotta be one of the hardest lines in fiction.
Man I forgot how crazy that death of hope animation was. It’s a crime that GW shuts down their talented fans and does so little with the IP when it has so much potential
@MalumZeth I don't think DoH even received any legal action either. Dude was undeniably talented and passionate, but you cannot deny he was a little bit pretentious, even if unintentionally. As soon as he got push back for the "True fans" line in the start of the first episode, he burned everything. It's a shame, he had potential, just got too defensive over his final product.
My thoughts on why I like this universe: Warhammer 40K - Grants meaning and power to the struggles of humanity In a galaxy full of hostilities. Reality - Human body is too fragile & distances in space too vast for us to traverse. Our will is fragmented as a species into countries, religions & personal interests including profit & resource hoarding. We’re nowhere united or passionate about ourselves. WH40K lore despite the grim dark is still a romantic imagination of a powerful species in decline & trying to reclaim the lost glory. In our world, we’re already in a decline and facing an uncertain future with a very real fear of dying out. To make it through we truly need a miracle like a benevolent Emperor to unite us like nothing else & instill love for our tribe & our home instead of the fear & disdain like we currently experience & exhibit.
It is just a game as the tales of Troy are but a story. In the moment I heard the words "Holy Terra", my very conception of myself and my people, our destiny, changed. In the moment I heard "The Emperor Protects", I knew Faith as I never had before. In the moment I saw a mortal man stand between his God and a fallen angel become a demon, I knew the face of courage as I had never known it before. In the faces of the Imperium, I saw the faces of my friends, family and countrymen, my fellow Terrans, and I knew hope as I never had before.
It is the 41st millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die. Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor’s will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst His soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Astra Militarum and countless planetary defence forces, the ever-vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse. To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruellest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
" I will see the galaxy free once more, and if I can't save it from your failure father, then let the galaxy burn! " - Horus Lupercal, Primarch of the Sons of Horus, The Warmaster of the Emperors Legions, The Archtraitor, The favored son
Battle in his name. War for his cause. For the emperor, for mankind. For the Imperium. It's not just a game. It is a TALE. A saga. A legacy. And we are its chapters.

In this video, you have encapsulated talking to friends at work and in social life about how amazing and expansive the lore is. Gonna use this video as my refrence to watch.
once you strip back the minis, the overtop nature of everything, the grim dark, etc., Warhammer is a tale of the worst of humanity and life in general, pain, war, murder, betrayal and hatred, its a world that openly mocks kindness, companionship, and love, but when you see those small sparks of hope, those small sparks of kindness, that small sparks of actions done out of humanity and care for someone other then yourself, it speaks volumes, that maybe when the killing and war is all done, when no more blood will be shed of anyone in the galaxy, then maybe, just maybe brother will no longer fight brother, son fight father, daughter fight mother, that all the deaths will not be in vain....
I don't play the tabletop or collect minis. I only played a single 40K strategy game in my live called Gladius, nothing more. Yet I am about 23 books deep into the lore and find myself drawn to this... scaleless tragedy of immense sadness.
Good job man literally felt like a movie trailer and gotta love the inspirational words from warhammer that make u wanna fight and die for the emporor lol
The galaxy hated us purely for existing. Untold billions upon billions dead. Untold billions upon billions martyred. Still, here we remain. For ten thousand years we have remained. And for another ten thousand we will remain. They may hate us, but we will fight them with every breath. In the fields, and on the beaches. In the skies, and in the oceans. In the void, and on the soil of a hundred worlds, we will fight them. We will not go quietly into the night. We will rage against the dying of the light. Every sacrifice made is another reason to remain, another reason to refuse to bend or break. We are humanity. And we will not give in.

If they stand before you, destroy them."
For those we cherish we die in glory!
Victory. That Is what the Preachers Cry From The Spires Of There Temples.
Victory as the Imperium rots around us
Ever since I got into Warhammer, I have been fascinated by the vastness of the lore.
No matter how dark the setting, the fact that we are still fighting gives me hope for the future.
No matter how big the enemy, there's something wonderfully reassuring that we are the biggest monster!
"Is this real or is it happening inside my head?"
"Of course it's happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it isn't real?"
This board game, books, video games, mini movies and the entire lore I believe resonates with a lot of people and when you discover this world of WarHammer you find a sense of what we could be or what we could become
Copyright law is fucked bro, the trouble is if GW don't protect their IP it opens themselves up to more people using it as the precedent is set.
THAT, and the fact he belived that people co siderered memes to be canon... but yeah, what killed the hype for me was the "for the true fans" bit.
Damn this was crazy good ngl, top notch quality
Holy crap this is so good! ❤
This moved me to tears.
My thoughts on why I like this universe:
Warhammer 40K - Grants meaning and power to the struggles of humanity In a galaxy full of hostilities.
The clip of the Marines being swarmed by Tyranids as they continue to fight despite the odds just hits different.
amazing vid love it
It is the 41st millennium.
Her: It's just a game!
My Chaos legion: WE SHALL LET THE GALAXY BURN
"The Hero of Helsreach... as if there was only one."
The Guard has held the line for 10,000 years, and will hold the line for 10,000 more until our God returns to lead us to glory once more!
"Cadia stands, men. CADIA STANDS!"
Those two sentances sum up warhammer pretty good.
Just had to explain to the Mrs why I'm crying.........I'm such a Warhammer Nerd 🤣
“Dad it’s just a game!”
The game in question:
The Imperium of Man: "I ain't hear no bell yet."
I rewatch this like twice a week. Instant mood change, when I wonder if I'm doing the right thing, or if I should give up....(Never!) That whole Horus scene where his Eyeshadow is just Perfectly walking that tight rope between furious and fabulous. Fabrius? that's too close ta Fabius, Fulgrim and Ferris hybrid ain't it
I'm new in the 40k fandom, and Ho boy!
Discovering the lore of this masterpiece is like entering in the city of Atlantide and discovering all of it's history !
Glory to the God Emperor , for the Imperium of Man !
BLOOD FOR THE EMPEROR, SKULLS FOR THE GOLDEN THRONE!
@@Neddicus may his light lead us in the darkness !
So satisfying to see this video recommended to me when it has 40k views
love it :^)
In this video, you have encapsulated talking to friends at work and in social life about how amazing and expansive the lore is. Gonna use this video as my refrence to watch.
0:40 this guardsmen is speaking heresy!!!
Spoilers from the show its from
She's a hallucination lol
God i just love the Roboute Gulliman VC, he really got the "ultra-depression" on point.
I gladly lay down my life for our Emperor.
once you strip back the minis, the overtop nature of everything, the grim dark, etc., Warhammer is a tale of the worst of humanity and life in general, pain, war, murder, betrayal and hatred, its a world that openly mocks kindness, companionship, and love, but when you see those small sparks of hope, those small sparks of kindness, that small sparks of actions done out of humanity and care for someone other then yourself, it speaks volumes, that maybe when the killing and war is all done, when no more blood will be shed of anyone in the galaxy, then maybe, just maybe brother will no longer fight brother, son fight father, daughter fight mother, that all the deaths will not be in vain....
Very good keep it up
Hello. robot. with. Single. Sentence
You know that’s my English writing is bad
There are battles that never end, there are battles that never will be won, but not loosing those battles today is glorious!
"The longest 5 minute in my life"
I don't play the tabletop or collect minis. I only played a single 40K strategy game in my live called Gladius, nothing more.
Yet I am about 23 books deep into the lore and find myself drawn to this... scaleless tragedy of immense sadness.
“They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the defenders of Humanity. They are my space marines… and they shall know no fear”
There are people who will see this video and think “Haha yes such a funny satire”
Tourists
I truly sometimes feel like the good of humanity rests on this series and others like it being as successful as it is.
Good edit cochise. May the Emperor protect you
Warhammer 40k is a story about devotion and dedication. ‘Only in death does duty end.’
Good job man literally felt like a movie trailer and gotta love the inspirational words from warhammer that make u wanna fight and die for the emporor lol
Sure, it's just a game until we relate, understand, empathize, and are even inspired by these characters in a satire of a setting.
as a black templar, there is no other option than die for the imperium and emperor🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
Humanity for the past 10.000+ years:
“I didn’t hear no bell”
i get chills watching this
The galaxy hated us purely for existing.
Whats the space marine chapter at 0:58 ?
Heresy Era World Eater Chaplin back to back with an Ultramarine
The loyalists from the traitor legions are the unsung heroes.
“Our people sing of victory”
“Victory, as the galaxy burns”
“Victory, as the Imperium rots around us”
“Victory, as humanity rages against the dying of the light” W speech🔥🔥
everytime i watch this i weep. this is why i got into 40k, the raging of humanity aganist the xenos and everything else in the galaxy
People who say, "Its just a game," never tried it themselves or even tried to put much thought into it, so yea, If they don´t care why should you care about them?
Stay strong, stay upright and most importantly, have fun : D Video tho and greatings from the Black Templars, the Emporer watches over you all
"Calths life flickers in the darkness" and Joshua's "light at the end of the darkness" line have the same energy.
Victory simply victory maybe someday but not today we still have work to do.For humanity that is what the emperor would want us to scream to the stars.
Why did that actually almost make me cry
0:46 this shot hit so good, two lone titans walking through a sunset wasteland.
This deserves millions of views
This edit is god tier gave me chills !
For in the grim Darkness of the far far future, there is only WAR
shivers!
"Warhammer is a satire."
Warhammer:
It is crazy what our little football sized brains can come up with. These worlds we cant touch but we feel them.
This is art, and makes me hope this can happen in real life. Just for these bad ass stands and moments.
Amazing work! Kinda inspiring me to get back in the grind to paint
