As a big fan of audio and video games. This is like the channel I've always wanted. Surround sound audio doesn't get enough coverage when I look at most reviews. The Series X version of this also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Sounds well mixed and really like how Capcom didn't put a simple low pass filter on the subwoofer channel! Good job audio engineers at Capcom! I don't like dynamic range compression except unless I'm forced to use a shitty soundbar (I could go on a rant on how a pair of modest bookshelf speakers will sound infinitely better than any soundbar but that's for another time) or TV built in speakers myself.
DMCV altogether pushes sound design to unique levels. I especially love how the music shifts from battle ranking, amplifying once you nail S / SSS Plus the voice talent is excellent. Bummer SE has weird low & high issues with volume. Hm would assume they would have it preset for excellent presentation on new hardware.
Love the new channel. Thanks for many years of fantastic content.
Joe, I give you and Dave on Game Sack credit for drawing my attention to video game music and sound... you doing these videos is absolutely great!

I need to rewatch this on a system with good sound setup

Off topic: will you be covering 16-bit and 32-bit games with surround sound on either this channel or Game Sack?
Gonna watch this on my crappy phone and complain about the audio quality.

Is it just me or does the sound at 2:22 almost sound like the de-res sound effect from the original Tron?
👍🏻
Great, too bad I don't care about DMC🤷🏼
