  • Volkswagen India has democratized its Performance line by introducing the GT badge on new variants of the Taigun and Virtus. The Virtus GT Plus now comes with a manual transmission powered by the 1.5l TSI EVO engine. Two new variants of the Taigun have also been introduced: the GT Plus MT and GT DSG. A new exterior body color, ‘Lava Blue,’ has been launched on the Virtus and Taigun across all variants. Volkswagen India has also introduced a marquee ‘GT Limited Collection,’ comprising limited volumes of the Virtus GT Plus DSG & GT Plus manual and Taigun GT Plus DSG & GT Plus manual. The ‘GT Limited Collection’ will feature exclusive ‘Deep Black Pearl’ and ‘Carbon Steel Matt’ finishes. The market introduction of all new variants and the ‘GT Limited Collection’ will commence from June 2023 onwards.

      Thanks @Kushal Singh!
      Can’t agree more!
Yaris was probably the only mass market car to get 7 airbags as standard in India, but the right direction in safety was not much appreciated by Indian buyers!
