Hi I crochet and I was wondering to sew pieces together can you use a hook or do you need to buy a certain needle if so what type do you recommend
What a great question! It really depends on what you're sewing and how you want it to look. You can use a crochet hook to do a slip stitch join. Or you can use a darning needle, a yarn needle, or a tapestry needle to sew pieces together using your yarn. Any of those will work. They all have a blunt end and are bigger needles with a large eye suitable for yarn. Is that helpful?🙂
I would recommend a metal yarn needle, wouldn’t recommend the plastic one if you’re using it frequently cause they snap after a while.
