Always view Shep's videos as soon as the algorithm presents them. The Mark III BHPs were also made in .40 S&W due to improved strengthened frames in an updated manufacturing process and had a firing pin block safety in the slide. As shooters, the last and the best of the line, though earlier blued predecessors were more elegant and collectable. Any Browning Hi Power is desirable to own.
Recently picked up a nice 1969 Hi-Power. That one has not made it into a video yet. Have not even shot it yet. A while back I saw a Hi-Power chambered in 30 Luger for sale. I thought the asking price was way too high. I know they are rare, but $2,500 was excessive. And since I retired my income is lower than it used to be. :-) One way that Google/RUclips suppresses gun videos (or any video they deem to be not politically correct) is that the algorithm doesn`t show them unless you specifically look for them. New videos every Saturday morning and Tuesday afternoon. With an occasional extra one thrown in once in a while. Assuming the screwy new rules don`t get them deleted. Little by little they are making it harder for gun channels to operate. A lot of people have given it up as not worth the aggravation, which is just what the google goons want. But since I do it as a hobby instead of a business, if they want rid of me, they are going to have to kick me off the platform, I`m not going to do it for them.
@@1957Shep Wll wishes Shep thanks for the kind notice and advice. I just subscribed for the algorithm to direct my browsing your way and will punch in your channel on the search bar. I have 2 Mark III s now and have had a Feg, and 3 "C" prefixed commercial HPs in the past, all great shooters and collectables.
Very nice! Kinda wish I would have bought a new Browning Hi Power before they quit making them 5-6 years ago.. I bought a new CZ-75 at the time instead and have been completely happy and satisfied with it but probably would have gone with the Hi Power had I known they were going to quit making them soon after.
No large safe. Several small ones. As the collection grew I just kept adding more small ones. Much easier to move if needed. I know a couple of guys that built big walk in vaults and regretted it later when they had to move.
@@1957Shep You'll probably need to add whole new wing to your house, then. heh Love your vids, Shep. It's interesting to see just how many different guns are out there thanks to you.
That semi-auto pistol was so much popular in my country, Country named Turkey... However, I Don't like it, I Generally like revolvers but also I like the Beretta 92FS. (That's the only semi-auto Pistol, I liked.)
Hey Shep, was just wondering if you have seen or fired a Springfield SA-35? ( Springfields version of the Hi Power ) I’m hearing that a lot of people are liking it more than FN’s new version of the Hi Power
Too short to be legal here, you have get a longer barrel for it too be legal. In 65 a Danish guy killed 4 police officers whit one one these old guns, because off a week magazine spring he had 14 in the magazine and one one the chamber,12 off his fried 15 rounds hit their target. He almost spend 33 year's in prison for that,my opinion is that it was too much. He died in 2018 Aged 90
Sweet pistol! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for taking time to watch.

Classic, reliable awesome....magazine disconnect not so much...but back then light triggers were a no no
Actually have three of these now. Recently picked up a nice 1969 Hi-Power and I also have an FN Hi-Power from WWII.
@@1957Shep Can never have too many hi powers

FN is making them again. But they have changed the design a little bit.
@@1957Shep Cool, I will have to give them a look
Shep's vault must be the size of a small city!

The Beretta is a good pistol, but the Browning fits my hand a lot better.
