Are this diy a way commercial?
What is the exact type and brand name of lanolin you are using. This is wonderful but providing name and or links to the ingredients would be much better. Most (including myself) are asking to ensure they get the correct ingredients especially the lanolin as there are so many types and brands. Can anyone provide the a brand and type she is using?

What can you use for high gloss if you don’t want to use Lanolin
Castor wax, however, you need to look up the usage rates for castor wax as it can become grainy & hard if you use too much. You would need to experiment. Make a small test batch, just a couple of tubes, and test it over a couple of weeks. Let one tube sit, don't use it during those couple of weeks. Watch to see what types of changes you notice in the tube which you haven't been using over those couple of weeks, as well as in the one you've been using. Does the texture change? Does it get too hard? Does it become grainy?
Testing your formulation is part of the process of learning to make personal care products. Part of research & development.

Yes. And it's definitely gross.

Rachel El because you put your hands on every place else. You can’t be washing your hands all the time, so it’s gross that you have to put your fingers into the bottle and on the lips. And you’re also going to contaminate the bottle and the product by putting your finger into it all the time.
I've never heard of lanolin oil
It's the coating which sheep have on their wool. An animal product. If you're trying to make vegan lip balm, lanolin is not an ingredients most vegans will use. If you don't care, it's not an issue.

Not putting dis directly to ur lips is totally unacceptable and annoying. U should make use of ur lips on tutoring like dis. Try to use ur body to demonstrate d best way to apply or use any product introduced.
