Hope you enjoy my upgrade of rocket racoon's mech! Instead of replacing the sccbs joints i opted to replate over them instead! I am pleasantly surprised by how much details that can be plated over those fixed joints! Stay tuned for Thanos and Hulk next :D

Please do one on ghost rider’s as well! Personally ghost rider is one of my favourite marvel characters and would love to see your thoughts and modifications to the set! Nice mods on this one though!

This build was awesome but I wish the knees and elbows were more articulated so the new side peices u added can look cooler, but great work
actually it is easier if i don't use the fixed joints. Its more fun that way.

Have you ever made a large mech using only pieces available in a big pre packaged set that wasn't originally a mech? On the one hand it "might" be easy since we have more pieces to use, but on the other hand it could still be a challenge if that set is missing crucial parts. 🤔 Would be interesting to see your take on theory building.
You can look through my alternative build playlist, there are a few :D I have converted lions, birds and dragons into mechs :P

Quick question about mechs, I recently made a mech, but a connector between 6360104 and 6039482 is loose, however the same connection is used elsewhere, and is sturdy, so of course I go to the Lego mech master for help
hmm these types of joint will wear and tear after some use. I had to replace those that i find loose after maybe a few months of use.
Thanks, ended up going with a different technique, must have been the 6360104 element, as I replaced it with the part you used to attach the boosters on the mech in the video

I definitely could use one of the pilot cockpit piece (not this one, the one where it has ball joints on the side. Basically the one they had in the Nexo Knights set?) for my own mecha suits like this one
hmm actually the cockpit piece here is different, it doesn't have the side joints. It allows a larger range of build this way. I recommend getting the newer ones from these sets
It would have been nice to see them side by side, for a better comparison.
Of course, nothing to say about the job itself... well, maybe the tail: for mee it looks odd, so low placed and pointed to the ground.
I would have put it where you used that round part for the butt.
(but I don't actually like that broom part they chose for the tail. I would have made a brand new one instead, more "raccoonish". But I understand you didn't want to change the original too much)

Your "UPGRADES" are absolutely INCREDIBLE
It's a vast improvement on the original, but I really hate that lego has changed the mech arms and legs to those curved pieces I much preferred the ball joints
actually they are not really that bad once you get used to them ^^ I'll do a couple more mocs with these
@@Chubbybots after they came out I started thinking of ways to use the while maintaining elbow and knee joints but I haven't made anything I'm overly happy with unless I make something bigger or do a chicken walker style leg but it always just looks off to me, maybe I just need time to adjust to it visually but I keep an eye on what you come up with

I love the mech design! But for some reason, I have a feeling of disgust every time I see that new SCCBS elbow/knee piece… Why do I feel this way?
well its allows the mech to bulk up faster in a way with less pieces. But definitely you can change the whole joint :D its lego anyway you can always customize it!

I think if Rocket had a mech, it’d be one of the less humanoid ones. Big legs, front-mounted guns, flat-ish body and all.

I love this upgrade, but I feel like the tail ruins the look! In original and upgrade! The tail aside, the rest is GREAT!

I also have that now and I want to upgrade it but my mom said that if I do that all the unofficial pieces and the pieces in the mech will mix.
So, has Lego downgraded their mechs with stiff one-piece limb pieces like they did with “Bionicle Stars” and “Hero Factory” phase 1?
However, those 60 degree ‘limb’ pieces are still cool for other builds.
