- I did have this planed for a while but just have to make sure I could get the parts and they were easy to find. Now it should be more stable and now we can look for shocks then a motor.
Warning the O rings go diff cup side only otherwise the dog bone will try and pop out.

This video is for 14 years old and older. These Rc vehicles are dangerous as there are fast moving parts and hot parts that can burn.
Hell yeah! TTP is where I got parts to widen the konghead. Top bloke.
He does carry a lot of parts when needed for a project.
素晴らしい車です🥰🎉🎉🎉♥️♥️♥️カッコいいです🥰👍👍👍👍ありがとうございます♥️♥️
Thanks You 🙂
@@BasBoyRC Thank you for your reply 🥰🐹🍓♥️
Nice Mal, Great upgrads and looks like they helpped.. Great info and food for thought.. Love that paint job, Watched your run on tv yesterday looked fun...😎👍🤙 i was trying to find that st to turn my tl01 into a b where did ya find them? Great stuff
Just looked on eBay, there are a few sellers in the UK so I'm lucky 🙂But search the part numbers on the video or look the manual up on Tamiya's website.
Wow that is a huge difference i like it
Tamiya could have made it like this in the first place and not had to make new parts. Down side is the steering, under steers a bit.
Well worth doing, I built mine with the wide arms and it drifts around on tarmac and loose surfaces nicely without rolling. I added the GF01 alloy shocks too, bit pricey but work well.
Shocks will be coming but not decided on what ones yet. I do not know why they did not used the wide arms to start with.
Excellent, it's really a very good conversion and a perfect job. Great rc 👍
Thank You 🙂
Thats a nice wide conversion, will definitely perform better with less rollover. 👍
It will be better as this is sort of a modern WT01 Wild Dagger.
Nice video❗This will improve the stability of your car and allow you to drive with confidence. ✨👍
Power when added will not cause a problem.
@@BasBoyRC 😊
i like it, looks great with a wider stance 👍👍😀
Glad you like the look, was a worry if it was not liked. I think I'm the first to do this conversion, more mods to come as I work them out.
Great conversion Mal. Can't await the next run.
Thanks Dirk 🙂
WOW that is way wider! you can probably put clod tires on it now!
A simple conversion and does not cost a lot, Clod wheels too big for this chassis. But wheels same size but wider would look great.
@@BasBoyRC I seen guys with clod wheels and tires on blackfoots! 😱😱
@@ShenRC I wonder how they fit, even weaker chassis.
That's cool! can't wait to see how it campaires when you test run it.
Way more stable.
Hi Team
Thanks for the great video and info! I am expecting my SVan to arrive by the end of the week!
I will appreciate it if you could summarize which parts are required to do the upgrade to GF02W, as the comments below are slightly confusing 🤭. Also, a link to Amazon perhaps, as I am unsure what to search for.
Thanks heaps.
Cheers
Eddie from Perth Australia
Hi Eddie, the parts required to make it wide are.
Tamiya Baja Champ/King/Wild Dagger/Blackfoot Xtreme, 0005688/10005688 C Parts 2 sets required.
Tamiya 9805551/19805551 Drive Shafts, Thundershot/Manta Ray/Bear Hawk/DF03/DT02 2 sets required.
Tamiya 9805583/19805583 3x71mm Threaded Shafts, Blackfoot/Monster Beetle/WT01 1 set required.
The reason one of the comments is confusing the guy is doing a 4WS conversion and requires more parts.
@@BasBoyRC Thanks Mate, I will see what I can do 👌👌👌👌
Beautiful RC, great job bro
Thank you 🙂
Now she needs midnight pumpkin tires
A possibility 🙂
Awesome mod! Running vid please!
Soon 🙂
👍

I’m trying to decide this or the hornet evo for my Christmas present
That's a hard choice as 2 very different kits.
Tamiya Squash Van GF02W
Parts List:
• 2 x 10005688 C Parts (for Tamiya Baja Champ TL-01B & Mud Blaster WT-01)
• 2 x 9805583 (4WS: front 34mm to 59mm, rear 33mm to 58mm)
• 2 x 9805551
• 1 x Yeah Racing Aluminum Damper Set 60mm (4 pcs, blue)
Are any other parts needed for a complete setup, such as additional screws, spacers, or mounting hardware? Let me know if adjustments or alternative components are required.
Those are roughly the parts but you do not need 2x 9805583 as 2 rods come in the pack for the steering. I do not know the shock length as I made the stock ones longer with a part off the C-Parts. If you are going for a 4WS set up, you would need 4x 10005688 and the extra rods 9805583.
4WS:
• 4 x 10005688 (C12, C14 & C15)
• 2 x 9805583 (71mm) • (original is MC8, 46mm & 19808061)
• 2 x 9805551 (76mm) • (original is MB7, 48mm & 19803236)
Is this correct? Do aftermarket options, alloy versions, or even 3D-printed parts exist for those arms?
@@GlenGross77 Yes, to do 4WS it takes four sets as you only make one front wishbone per part tree. The Squash kit has all the hub parts included in the kit to make the second set of steering. I do not know about alloy parts as I do not use many of them as plastic arms have a little give in them on impact. If you want alloy look to see what is on eBay. 3D printed parts not that strong and if you get them done at shapeways that cost too much if they even do them.
