How any hard rock, metal, classic rock, or plain old rock n roll fan can watch this and not think this wasn’t the greatest rock band of all time escapes me.
i remember taping this version off the radio after appetite for destruction had died down and it was taking forever for new material to come out because they were working on dual albums for use your illusion, which was well worth the wait. i remember thinking i had something new and unreleased by having this version. although the studio version of this song is spectacular, this version still holds a special place with me, some of Axl's improvisations here are the way I always sing along regardless of the version that I hear.
I remember the first time I watched this video. As a teenager listening to electronic music from the late 80's, this video changed my life! Have seen them live a few times in different countries and can't wait for the next opportunity.

I was lucky tho, my dad had the big stereo system hooked up to cable also so we could play it on there and I put 2 tapes in the decks to record entire concert on tape. Everyone in school was bringing me blank tapes to make copies....lol.
