Part 1 of the series. All game footage was captured from my home Nintendo GameCube. Music is "Gamer Forever" by SkyMarshall Arts modified by Nightcore.
Pretty great selection of games! I really liked the diversity present and not just focusing on the most popular first party titles all while still including them. Honestly, the only missed opportunity I see here is that it would have been very fitting if the Rogue Leader footage was matched to a point in time when the following lyrics are playing "I was playing my Amiga at home" seeing how the development team on that game was tremendously popular on that machine. However, I think that's just me being a huge nerd (the GameCube and Amiga are coincidentally my favorite gaming platforms with the Super Nintendo very close as well)
The GameCube was very unique - nearly all of Nintendo's franchises were different on the 'Cube. Mario had Luigi's Mansion, Mario Sunshine and Mario Kart Double Dash, all of which break the "rules" of Mario games. Zelda had Wind Waker, which at first was not well received but is now a fan favourite for many.
+Gamez Geek Agreed wholeheartedly. I've played every exclusive released in North America and Europe and, honestly, it astounded me how consistently good the exclusive library is. There are definitely a few duds, but they are vastly outnumbered by games that are decent at minimum and absolutely phenomenal at best.

Yes I played zanac the other day. Some of the same people who did Gun-nac but it is an earlier creation on the system, so not as polished. But, still quite awesome. I think zanac is also much tougher.

+josh will It does have a region code. I have some Japanese games that cannot be played on a US GameCube unless you use the Freeloader or Action Replay Disk. Be careful with memory cards as well they may get reformated when you use this technology.
