The nice visible pendulum helps you keep time if you are playing something too loud to hear the tick. When I was a tuba player that feature was a godsend.
I was thinking i want an analog metronome too. love that you have this review here! Kind of amazing, such a specific query: analog vs digital metronome, and RUclips has it! Thanks man
Yes, because it simulates not using a click a little better since it's not electronic or within a DAW; you'd have to mic it in an isolated room for the band to listen to while recording.
It is. I just received mine and it's completely out of sync just like his. It's useless because one side falls faster and begins to get out of sync as the time passes by. Sad
you can't hand hold it lol, only a pure level surface gives you even beats left vs right, even on the BEST metronome. This is a pretty terrible review.
Funny odd story. I started playing drums really at 8 years old. I was given a toy drum I made into a snare. My grandad gave me a Hohner Metronome that prob would be worth money today but I used to use it ...Learning traditional grip playing paradiddles and flams double stroke rolls etc. I used to use the Metronome to go to sleep. It is hilarious. Great amazing video my friend. Keep it rocking. Rob..
I have an old Wittner from west Germany,i have insomnia and every 3 days of being awake i lay down and if i listen long enuf i can fall asleep and get 4 to 6 hours of sleep,if i cannot fall asleep after listening to it for 4 hours i get up and try again the next day usually if it dont work on the 3rd day it always works on the 4th day.
Thank you! I bought the same one. It has a sponge inside, I wish you would of shown how to open the bottom to remove the sponge. You would think is the easiest thing to do but I just cannot seem to open it and it barely comes with any instructions.
Dude, I can really see how hard you tried, but I dont know if your aware of it or not, but you didnt actually let us hear any of these because you immediately started to talk about them and only tried to pause for a whole 4 secs with the last quick speed pace. but I give you an A+ for effort!

I agree it is nice.
"It's perfectly in time" at 4:00 since he's holding it not flat, it's like a swing pattern lol
Sometime a swinging groove is required! LOL
Gotta funk it up from time to time hehe
Metronome is also used for arrow flashes in cars.

Sounds asymmetrical to me, but now I realize you were holding it askew.
thanks for not complaining
this metronome sounds with a little bit of swing to me

I didn't even know about the sponge.
probably why the cadence was off
would 'have', not 'would of'.
@@robbinghudd hood not hudd
You should put it on a desk or other flat surface
LOL thanks for the advice
Beautiful review!!!
Glad you liked it!
wait so if it’s wind up then how long does it run for?
I haven't timed it but its quite a while.
Why is the link no longer to the Donner model?
Not sure what you mean?
@@addictedtogear Look at the link from what you gave us! Its not even the same thing!!
Thank you very much Sir
2:56 yes it does!
I agree , i love analog, it's real, exactly

Longest 1 minute and 40 seconds in my life waiting for remove cover of the metronome
You can’t rush art! Lol
Jeez, calm Down and be patient. A minute is too long?
Too much stuff in my room as it is. I'll just use my phone app. Also, wife has me on a strict budget after a guitar spending spree.
Fatt Philosopher sorry to hear that.
Ask her boyfriend to buy you one of these. They're very useful.
Way better and more 'real' than a damn app. I hate them.
sounds like it is having trouble playing in time
I was holding it at an angle. Needs to be on a flat surface
Haha, it’s not analog. It’s mechanical. But I know what you’re trying to say. I’m gonna get me one.
I saw 2 in a couple of thrift stores- a small analog type and a Franz electric metronome. I didn't get either, and I regret both😔.
all his amps in the back got him hype on analog haha ⚡
It's analog AND mechanical.
This is a digital metronome. It goes "tik tok…"
An analogue metronome goes "wish woosh…"
Leo of Red Keep LOL
That's why I'm here. I want the original, not an app that will be lame and confusing
