It's kind of depressing to realize that my entire vintage game collection is probably worth 1/3 of your Neogeo set. I have at least 1,000 games over various consoles too. Most valuable game I have is probably Power Blade 2 loose for the NES which many of your Neogeo carts would eat for breakfast lol. Turbo Graphx is also relatively expensive to collect for too but Neogeo is king. Neogeo was expensive in the past and it's expensive in the present. I and my envious wallet salute you sir.
Awesome collection you have there. I saw one of your comments on this video regarding SouthTown Homebrew and I went to their website and purchased a bunch of shock boxes and inserts for my MVS cartridges. Thanks!
@ContraCommando THANK YOU! I owned my AES since '94. I have been collecting for years. Last year is when I got back into hardcore collecting for the system. The prices vary .
I recently got JP Cyber Lip for the AES - regretted selling it back in 1995 - and glad to have it back in my games collection along with my small collection of AES carts and NGCD's. You really have an awesome collection of MVS / AES ! :D
Thank you! That is a sweet serial# brother! I got mine in '94 at a now defunct game shop in my city.Babbages brings back a lot of memories. I purchased a lot of NOS games from them for $30 a pop. Thanks for stopping by:)
Just got into the AES. Holy hell are the alot of fighters for this system...i mean damn, i heard people say it but didn't think it was quite this much haha.
use to own a neo geo console back in the day, just cant afford all the good games.......its so happy to see someone have an epic collection like yours :)
WOW! Great collection, Ive a CD complete collection and been working on my cart collection for the last 25 years still some way to go! lol Great video!! Well done! MJ
@mastersofurmouth Thank you. The Neo Geo X is okay if you don't own the original hardware. I'm taking the wait and see approach. There will be issues with certain games due to licensing issues, so you won't get a complete collection
Awesome video! I see you got a new camera. ;) I need to catch up with my Fatal Fury series and the U.S. World Heroes collection so cool. Good stuff Sal.
Finally got a chance to watch it all, man! I wish I could of cleaned up at Babbages..$29 World Hereos 2 ha! You call like it is not like me (rose tinted glasses on a lot of the classic games lol) Great to see your old Neo from 94 (we got them the same time) Again, savage collection bro!
It's all about what you enjoy collecting rather than cost. I've always loved Neo Geo and feel more people should be made aware of the awesome games. I do have some very valuable AES games, but I still have to watch my wallet also. The cheapest way to collect for the Neo Geo is the MVS route due to most of the games are 1/3 of the price. Thanks for watching and the kind words:)
No problem, it's a long vid;) I got stone lucky at Babbages back in the day. That's freaking cool we got the Neo the same year! Thanks for watching and commentingXD
Yeah I bought FF1,2 WH,1,2 back in '95 at Babbage's when they were getting rid of their old stock.Did you sell the games? Did you ever think about getting a CMVS?
huge collection, but you still miss some of the best. 1. the last blade 2 (my favorite beat em up of all times) 2. flying power disc (the most addictive sports game on neo geo) 3. pulstar (my most loved shmup on the system) 4. viewpoint (was my favorite until pulstar came out) 5. last resort (about the 3th best shmup in my opinion) some honorable mentions, but not must haves are top hunter, spinmasters and blazing star. and of course there are the newly produced games 4 aes/mvs, but I don't know them. crossed swords 2 looks pretty good tho.
@MarkRodriguez09 A CMVS is a consolized MVS machine. it allows you to play MVS games on your tv. MVS games range from $20-150. it's the cheapest way to play Neo Geo. ..and it's the actual arcade software/hardware. Since the Neo Geo AES is way to expensive. ..this is the best route.
Yeah, KoF U.S. version was produced in very limited quantities. It has a cert from the Neo Geo Freak distributors to prove authenticity. Thanks for watching!!!
beautiful MVS/AES collection. I have a MVS 1 slot with about 18 titles. Not really into the fight games so much but love Panic Bomber & Pop N' Bounce. I hope to buy a Neo Mr. Do! when one comes up at a reasonable price.
Great collection there mate, really impressive! The AES is a system i've wanted for literally more than 20 years but every time I consider it the prices put me off....... on the flip side if I didn't waste money on systems and games i'm not bothered about then I would be able to afford one lol
Are MVS games compatible with the AES system? and vice versa? I just looked on wikipedia saying that it's basically the same games thus the MVS system were able to operate 6 games at the same time, sort of. So I just want to know, the MVS and AES games are basically the same games, right?
I think I'm the only one who likes the US Fatal Fury cover, also love the game too :) You have a great selection of games there mate - I wish I put all my MVS games in those ShockBoxes but importing them is really expensive! World Heroes Perfect AES US :O very nice! That's the only one in the series i'm missing! very jealous!
Lol, FF's cover has that early 90's cheese factor:) Yeah, I heard the importing of shock boxes are a bitch. WWP was bought brand new when it came out. My other one I'm proud of is my U.S. copy of Matrimelee. Thanks for checking out this old video =-D
I have a question about serial numbers on the Neo Geo. I have been a long time collector myself, I need to concentrate more on my Neo Geo AES (my collection is very small compared to yours). I am a collector for all consoles and games and most of my big money games are for the PS1 and Sega Saturn. At any rate, I love the Neo Geo and I want to start collecting more for it (amazing console). I haven't been in the actual Neo Geo collectors seen very long, even though I have owned an AES for a very long time. Okay, sorry, now to my question- Does the value of the console increase for the lower serial numbers. I know the lower you go the better built they are and you can even see this today on newer TV's. My cousin has an Neo Geo AES; his consoles serial number is, if I remember correctly in the upper 60k range. It's still an amazing console, but on Hi-definition TV's the colors looked washed out and bland (maybe not the right word, but not as colorful as mine). When I connect my AES to one of my Samsung 4K UHD's it looks so lush (I know, I know, not on a CRT...blasphemy). I have one of the hotel units, (that's where I believe it comes from anyway) it's box is completely white with minimal artwork on the box. It says SNK on it and NEO GEO on the front face. The console itself came with one controller and no game (I can tell by the Styrofoam it's surrounded in). The console is completely stock with no modifications on it whatsoever. The serial number, I believe, it's in our walk-in closet and I will look tomorrow is below 20k. I want to say it's even lower, but don't quote me on it, I will look and report what I find tomorrow night. If so is it worth more than one with a higher serial number or dose that not matter (I am not selling, I am genuinely curious). Thanks in advance and amazing collection. I need to make a RUclips channel and show off some of my stuff. I'm actually a pretty lucky guy in that department. My fiance is a huge gamer herself (she not only plays but encourages me to go farther, she is like that with my guns and cars as well) is currently playing FF12 Remake in 4K in our bedroom. Hell, we have two 4K screens in our bedroom side by side so we can play together (her idea). I am playing Yakuza 0, and am about to start Yakuza Kwaimi when I finish 0. Again absolutely stunning collection, I am going to show my fiance this video after I posted this.
I'm really into Neo Geo stuff but the expensive prices of carts and not being able to find these in the wild force me to play emulators and series compilations (Ex. Metal Slug Anthology). Any advice for someone who wants to get into the hobby without breaking the bank?
I agree that the Neo Geo scene is out of control. The best way to enjoy Neo Geo is a CMVS. A one slot shouldn't run you more than a $100.00 . Plus, the MVS games are waayyy cheaper than the AES ( home carts ).
VolkswagenGamer There a great way to try out games that you may have not played. But some of the carts are glitchy. Some of my games have sound or graphical issues.
Awesome, do you make your own boxes for MVS, I mean these games came in another kind of boxes right?, plese respond me with a private mensage, i hope you can understand what I wrote
Hey SNKNeoGeoMan. Great videos and channel. BTW, I think I get the lowest serial number award based on your video.. My Neo Geo USA AES console is 013063. Purchased new from at Babbages back in the day as a Gold-set. I considered it a good deal (by Neo Geo standards) with its 2 free games, 2 controllers & memory card.
Really nice collection! I have just started to get into AES collecting myself. my rarest game so far is an CIB Spinmaster.

Awesome collection you have there. I saw one of your comments on this video regarding SouthTown Homebrew and I went to their website and purchased a bunch of shock boxes and inserts for my MVS cartridges. Thanks!
Thank you! My collection changed a lot since this video. I'm glad you got some shock boxes. They make the MVS collection look fantastic!
@ContraCommando THANK YOU! I owned my AES since '94. I have been collecting for years. Last year is when I got back into hardcore collecting for the system. The prices vary .
thats so awesome that you basically have a complete collection of neo-geo arcade games. And not many people can say that. Good shit Sal.
Incredible Collection Is Great XD
Thank you!
Neo Geo Sports Games, the only sports games that are still worth something over the years. ^_^ Thanks for sharing!
Holy hell bro I had no idea you had such an awesome collection. That's the largest Neo-Geo collection i've ever seen, super awesome!
Amazing collection dude!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! I need to make an updated video, as my collection has changed since this recording.
***** An updated collection video would be awesome! I'm watching this video again now... love it!
Spooky Gamer UK Thanks. Much appreciated!
Such a wonderful collection and its always a pleasure to view and hear you talk about them :)
I recently got JP Cyber Lip for the AES - regretted selling it back in 1995 - and glad to have it back in my games collection along with my small collection of AES carts and NGCD's. You really have an awesome collection of MVS / AES ! :D
Sweet collection man .. I just started to collect for my AES.
Wow, my AES and CD collection seems so small now. You have some really great games and I'm definitely jealous.
Nice collection. I've been looking to see a size comparison between AES/MVS boxes for forever, so it's nice to see them side by side here.
I bow to you sir. Thank you for sharing your collection to us. I dream of the day I own my very own AES.
Thank you!
i'd like to have the money you invested in your games-collection so i could build a house. *lol* impressive collection!
Nice collection you sure have a lot of games. Most of them look like fun games. Crazy how the games are pricy
The reason why old school game prices are going up, is because these are the greatest games to ever be made. No bullshit like dlc and lootcrates.
Just been recently getting into snk/neo geo stuff, and I love it! Love these vids, keep em coming!
use to own a neo geo console back in the day, just cant afford all the good games.......its so happy to see someone have an epic collection like yours :)
+Sam Ho Thank you!
Great collection man, I like the commentary you did on each game.
awesome mate, really enjoyed looking at the collection and hearing your views on each game:)
@ThePCFXSociety Thank you for the kind words and the sub. I love the Neo, and this system needs more recognition. Thanks again.
Great video and collection!! Just started collecting for MVS!! It's really addicting!! MY consolized MVS is in the mail! Cant wait to set it up!!
Thank you! That is awesome. MVS is the best way to go.
This is a very helpful video. Recently bought a NEO GEO AES and starting to build a library.
@MusicSeventy lol. Yes, remember when that was the rage. in the 16bit era:)
man this collection is killer! im lookin forward to that waku waku seven review! awesome vid!
WOW! Great collection, Ive a CD complete collection and been working on my cart collection for the last 25 years still some way to go! lol Great video!! Well done! MJ
@snkneogeoman, Awesome collection brother! Nothing like a Neo collection bro!! (I like how you have em all together)
@mastersofurmouth Thank you. The Neo Geo X is okay if you don't own the original hardware. I'm taking the wait and see approach. There will be issues with certain games due to licensing issues, so you won't get a complete collection
OMG that NeoGeo collection is just jaw dropping...
i hope to start my journey into collecting MVS carts in a few days. ordered a one slot with a supergun
Awesome video! I see you got a new camera. ;) I need to catch up with my Fatal Fury series and the U.S. World Heroes collection so cool. Good stuff Sal.
Very nice collection as usual bro. Keep em coming!
always enjoy seeing your amazing collection.
thanks for sharing XD
Nice Collection man. It's good to see more SNK/Neo Geo fans.
Thank you!

Lol, Dal. Thank you! Quite a few additions since this vid was made;)
i love the boxes and box art for this system
seriously.....im so jealous! this collection is awesome!
i was wondering if theres some place where you can buy cases and overlays for neo geo aes or mvs games
@LegaiaRaSeru Thank you! Yes, the English versions are very rare and super expensive. IWhen I get a chance I can do 03 for yah.
@HoratioVanBasten Thank you! I would love to see your collection.
No problem, it's a long vid;) I got stone lucky at Babbages back in the day. That's freaking cool we got the Neo the same year! Thanks for watching and commentingXD
Nice collection mate, some real gems there :-)
I envy you LOL :P
keep it up!
Yeah I bought FF1,2 WH,1,2 back in '95 at Babbage's when they were getting rid of their old stock.Did you sell the games? Did you ever think about getting a CMVS?

@bluetonic78 Thanks. That's why I collect for only a couple systems due to the reasons you stated.

@AFLVideos2011 Thank you. It took a lot of hard work to get these games
Yeah, KoF U.S. version was produced in very limited quantities. It has a cert from the Neo Geo Freak distributors to prove authenticity. Thanks for watching!!!
Amazing collection! Truly Epic!!
Thank you!
Wish I had those games myself! Well, for now playing them on MAME will have to do! But nothing beats having the real deal! :-)
Great collection !!! Hello from France ;)
Hello!!!! Thank you!
That KOF 95 cover is badass!
Yes, it is. :^)
How can you have the boxes on the MVS version of the games as if they were AES? And they all look brand new!
@mcpentland Thanks Marty!! I don't belong to any Neo Geo forums or clubs.
Excellent collection I love them.
beautiful MVS/AES collection. I have a MVS 1 slot with about 18 titles. Not really into the fight games so much but love Panic Bomber & Pop N' Bounce. I hope to buy a Neo Mr. Do! when one comes up at a reasonable price.
@misterdude206 Thanks!!! I have aways to go for a complete collection
Awesome collection of one of the best consoles, if not the best, ever,
Thank you!!!!!
You're absolutely welcome. Thank you for sharing. For a moment there it made me feel as if I actually owned an MVS and those great games.

@jimako123 Thank you for the kind words. I just want to inform people of this awesome system
What a great collection, I'm jealous.
Amazing collection, I'm jealous!
Great collection there mate, really impressive! The AES is a system i've wanted for literally more than 20 years but every time I consider it the prices put me off....... on the flip side if I didn't waste money on systems and games i'm not bothered about then I would be able to afford one lol

MOTW
Blazing Star
Super, super cool collection!
Very nice collection. Where do you buy the shockbox for MVS?
congratulations collection !
+Vevé SNK Thank you!!

that collection is SIIICK!

Awesome Scott!
@MrBacchus18 Thank you !
Man.. I used to own Fatal Fury 1, Fatal Fury 2, World Heroes 2 and Art of Fighting 2 before my Neo Geo crapped out. You're lucky you have them all.
I have a question about serial numbers on the Neo Geo. I have been a long time collector myself, I need to concentrate more on my Neo Geo AES (my collection is very small compared to yours). That's beautiful brother :)
@JacobRockz100 Thanks!!! The prices are insane
Do you now have a XRGBmini Framemeister ?
@madanimal Thank you! I've gotten plenty more since this vid:)
Is Mark of the Wolves worth buying? Because it costs over 1000 dollars
I'm really into Neo Geo stuff but the expensive prices of carts and not being able to find these in the wild force me to play emulators and series compilations (Ex. Metal Slug Anthology). Any advice for someone who wants to get into the hobby without breaking the bank?

I'll look into that. What is your opinion on the 161 in 1 style MVS carts?
VolkswagenGamer There a great way to try out games that you may have not played. But some of the carts are glitchy. Some of my games have sound or graphical issues.
Okay I'll keep that in mind.
Awesome, do you make your own boxes for MVS, I mean these games came in another kind of boxes right?, plese respond me with a private mensage, i hope you can understand what I wrote
Man you're video made me drool all over my pc lol
+TheTragic66 LOL!! Thank you!!
Is that the version you have or do you just have a bunch of MVS and SHOCK Boxes.
Lol it's the RUclips stabilisation tool that screws it up. Oh well this isn't a high production channel:) Thanks for commenting!
@lactobacillusprime Thank you!!!!
Wow!! Hella sweet man!!
