@fleabittenadventures A movie poster getting wrinkled in a frame is usually caused by the paper expanding and contracting due to changes in temperature and humidity, especially if the frame is too tight, not allowing the poster room to move with these fluctuations, resulting in wrinkles or ripples along the edges. Improper mounting can contribute. My more expensive ones are linen backed, but I wouldn't bother with that for a couple of hundred dollar one.
I know so many of these flea market dealers. I run into them a lot. I just had to comment. lol. The fella that sold you the Disney Poster and trays He is a great guy and I'm glad he gave you a great deal. He works hard to attain his flea market finds.
I’m telling you Tom your mom is so funny. Especially when she saw that ashtray when she said “get em started easily” . It made me laugh so hard. You’ve got to let her be on your channel. She’s great! I don’t know her but I love her already 😂😝😍😅
Hi Tom. I thought of you the other day when I saw a RUclips on these people having an estate sale and they threw half of what didn't sell in the dumpster. Box after box after box of character glasses and other collectibles. Enough to fill a semi trailer. I wouldn't have passed up those vintage matchbox cars you had in your hand. Those would have went home with me. I'm a diecast collector. Thanks Tom.
It makes me ill to think that someone would throw away that much potentially cool stuff! I was honestly a little concerned with the condition of the carded Matchboxes. I didn't say it in the video, but you may notice for the red Lincoln that not all of the cards matched each other, some of the cars were facing the opposite direction and they appeared to be stapled shut. There might have been some mixing and matching of cars and cards there.
I like to watch your videos. I visit a lot of markets here in The Netherlands myself searching for USA license plates and Air Force badges. Hard to find overhere though. Thanks for your great channel!
I think you bought more things in the first five minutes than ever before. If the poster was framed properly it would be mounted from behind at the top. This allows the page to hang and allows gravity and the mat or glass to keep it pressed flat as it expands and contracts. Putting adhesive around all four sides can ultimately lead to waves in the paper, generally near the bottom. Been there, done that.
Hard to say. I really don't see a ton of comics at many flea markets. I went to the Bethlehem Flea Market a couple of years ago and went through all their comics. 95% of them were dollar books or less. No real keys or anything. That may have changed though if they've restocked since then. You'd be better off going to a dedicated comic book show.
Sadly, pretty much all of the camera glasses have super low video quality. If they ever make camera glasses with video quality similar to GoPro, then I'll get them.
@@fleabittenadventures LGR (lazy game reviews) uses camera glasses for his thrifting series and they are really high quality Edited out name of Glasses that I use cause they are no longer in sale, sorry about that
I get so frustrated at flea markets/antique shops/etc because so many items are priced way higher than they should be. It's like no one wants to actually sell their stuff, they just want to display their collections. I understand that they're trying to make money, but come on!
That Star Trek novel " The Price of The Phoenix" is a good one. I read it back when I was 11 or so.
I'll have to check it out!
I collect movie posters. The condition is fine, and you got one heck of a good deal on that!
Are the waves in the poster normal, or is that due to improper mounting? I honestly don't know. Thanks.

Disney poster and trays great buys 👍🔥
I thought so! Thanks for watching!

Yeah, he seemed like a great guy. I think I bought from him before at the Stormville Flea Market.

I agree, but she really doesn't want anything to do with filming stuff herself or really being on camera too much.
@ are you kidding she’s a natural. Just tell her she’s got a fan in me. 😎

Good man always buy what you want thats the way I am I buy what I want and know one tells me what to buy.
Exactly. I'm honestly confused why some people seem to get so upset about what I buy or don't buy.

So your guess is that the poster wasn't mounted properly? That's what I was thinking, but I really don't know anything about mounting posters. Thanks.
I am surprised that you have bought a few less than perfect condition items in your last few videos. 😎
It really depends on what the item is, how good or bad the condition is and the mood I'm in at the moment.
Don't let any snide comments get to you. You're doing fine.
Thanks. Some of the comments (very few) are kind of silly, to put it nicely.
Great variety of stuff. Prices just a little high for me.
Depends on the vendor. One of them was definitely high, others were more reasonable.
14:34 I just sold the Christmas variant of those glasses!
Haven't seen the Christmas variety yet. I would guess Spuds is wearing a Christmas hat and scarf?
Great deal on the Disney poster , just the frame is worth $25.00 .
That's what I was thinking too!
You should do one video where you give the camera to your mom so we can see what she likes/picks up. That’d be cool
Frogs.
Most likely.
I would, if she wanted to, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to.
@ yeah that’s totally fair. I do like seeing her frog purchases 🤣
What’s the best flea market for comic collectors? I’ve been to Stormville and Elephants trunk along with the Bethlehem Indoor Flea Market.

You really should invest in some camera glasses, would be a massive Boon to your channel and probably make it much easier for you to record

Noahs ark ride in kennywood right outside Pittsburgh
Yes, I think there used to other Noah's Ark rides at other amusement parks too, but they got torn down years ago.
Wasn’t the Super Nerd Cave supposed to be released today?
Yes, today at 7:00pm.
I collect wrist watches.
Nerd cave???

Its not water damage its the way it was rolled before framed
OK. Thanks for the info. It's not supposed to do that though, right?
