The guild house would have been a perfect building, even without it presenting a luxury use you had, because the special ability that triggers gives resolve based on how much you have sold. It's important, eventually in difficulty, to consider the service buildings abilities.

Chop the trees in the way of farm there is so much more fertile soil under those trees :P

Banking on people dying from hostility level 2 effect seems weird. Are you not aware that those nasty yet low level hostility effects can be prevented by fulfilling rather basic needs like food or housing?
That only works in the first few years, if you don't get a good cornerstone for reducing hostility it's not possible to go below 2 and avoid that. Especially with those + hostility for every open glade.
@@vasilkalchev3734 Not what was pointed out. You can negate the whole effect of dying with certain fullfilled needs like housing (depending on the hostility effect). It doesn't reduce hostility but the effect as a whole.
@@vasilkalchev3734 Nono, they're saying that you can completely prevent the negative effects, not by going below the hostility threshold but directly by providing some sort of need. It says so in the modifier's description. In this case here, the hailstorm, people ONLY ever have a chance of dying during the storm when they are homeless, which is usually trivial to achieve. I was going to comment on this too. If I get that modifier I'm usually glad, bc there's MUCH MUCH worse... :)

This doesnt work on higher difficulties where your trade goods are worth half
