16:22 There's only one Ancient Hearth and thats what you start with, all you build after are Small Hearths and don't really give firekeeper bonuses. So yeah just slap lizards onto them and you're good to go.
I pretty much love this game for being entertaining. Currently, I am in season 30 or so and are pretty far up in the tech tree. For me, an awesome start always contains the following: - auto scent production (6/min) - food for 1 point - bricks, planks or clothes for 2 points Choose a team of beavers and any amount of humans and/or lizards. Always check if there is a workshop in the three free buildings, build it second after two woodcutters. Third is a kiln if possible. Prioritize these and change the recipes once you have coal. Use only coal in the heart. After that prioritize food, either by collecting or by a greenhouse. No farms except for fibers or clay.
Nice i am just downloading the update. By the way i discovered this game because of you Pravus and i really enjoy it. Just finished a run on prestige 3 and i got like 15 deeds on it plus several achievements. I exited the game i saw the the download and your video almost simultaneously.
hail pravus! when you first played this game awhile ago, it prompted me to buy the game. now that ive spent hours on it bc of how intriguing you made it on your first video, seeing you play now makes me feel so giddy and happy! THE FOXES WILL DOMINATE! HAIL PRAVUS
I mean, if you want to min/max, you could potentially clear trees until you're on the verge of opening up a glade, put a fox on the hearth, open the glade, then put the harpy or someone else back on. I assume carrying capacity is only looked at when they go to pick up loads and doesn't affect what they're already carrying in transit. Also as other folks have said, that I also learned through trial and error, only the ancient hearth gives a global bonus, not the small ones; the small hearths just increase your available building area because houses and service buildings need to be placed within proximity of a hearth. Tried having multiple humans on multiple hearths to super-slow impatience gain and discovered that plan doesn't work. Yeah, getting free resources from stuff you were making already is really, really helpful, even if the bonus production is for things you may not be using, as you can then sell that excess to a trader to buy more things you want.
Also, unless it changed from the preview notes the fox benefit is only while they are running the large hearth. If you swap them out all the hostility comes back. So no need to micro, pick which one works best for your build/style and leave them there.
@@dragonfang12321 Yeah, that's how all the other hostility things work in my experience. The hostility only stays reduced while the benefit is active and comes back when the benefit goes away.
9:02 you comment that you don't have regular camps. The stonecutter's camp and harvester's camp only come in the full size version, so that was actually doable.
Honestly, now that Blightrot only happens with Rainpunk Engine usage, I just never install Pipes and ignore the new Rainwater mechanic altogether. It's just more trouble than it's worth.
I like all of the choices, I like Frogs the most but Toads are different and less cute. Frogs 100% should get buffs during rain how ever Toads don't want wet climates and can hurt them in some respects. It's like if you took a 100 pound tortoise and dumped them into a river and expect them not to instantly drown... Now that I say that they may float now that I think about that. Also foxes have nothing to do with working well with rain water.
people could chose between Toads, Bats and Foxes and they vote foxes?! Thats so boring. Toads and especially Bats would be so much more interesting because you did not see these kind of animals often in games.
Foxes in Against the storm: Majestic and mysterious masters of the rainwater.
Foxes in the Furry community: Bleb
😅
Foxes in the Furry community: Horny
not that i would know...
@@EvelynNdenial Ah yes. that also :D
Nah they both are great.

They do give bonuses but the bonuses dont stack iirc

Always glad to see another episode for Against the Storm! Curious to see how the Foxes will playout in different scenarios.

"there was a community poll..." Ah that explains it

Pravus: "We don't have these". Everyone watching: "Yes we do"
At long last, Pravus can truly embrace his furry self! The waifus have arrived! REJOICE!
I really do enjoy you playing this series!
This has become my favorite series on your channel. Thanks

Ah yes, Age of empires: Furry edition
An army of furrys got there there is no escape you cannot be saved
Now That's something i gotta buy haha
Harpies, beavers, and lizards have existed
@@Lightna it was already too late.
not going to lie, i clicked because of the furry. BUT YOU DONT NEED TO CALL ME OUT FOR IT!
one of my favorite games. thanks for covering the beta update or whatever you called it.

Ravenous axes is for wood production, so you have to cut 250 wood, not have it in store
Nice fox race has a well written and layout good animation and storytelling very much creative artist fantasy game so rich in mix of colours
Frogs would be cool, but alas
This game is still in early access but I've been following it and it's super intriguing!
Great to see ATS back but I've got to say... You're level 18, playing on Viceroy: It wasn't *foxes* that made the win easy.
I like how ATS have so many furry races.
i want pie🥺give them pie, they deserve it for working so hard
oh, new episode, waiting for so long, thanks
More against the storm
Not really a fan of against the storm but that was a really funny opening so I will actually watch this series
Hey there foxy people
glad this is back
Wow I thought about this game yesterday. I wonder if you would play more of it!
What are the chances of Pravus going up in difficulty and into prestige levels? I'd love to see him tackle those!
Furry saves the day.
Praise Gimli!
For someone who grind this game there's so many cringe moment pravus.
Praise Pravus
Pravus should play more democracy 4. i would love to see a hardest difficulty america run. day 167
Oh no
Oh no
The game's trying to appeal to me
praise pravus
But... what does the fox say?
Furrys \o/
people could chose between Toads, Bats and Foxes and they vote foxes?! Thats so boring. Toads and especially Bats would be so much more interesting because you did not see these kind of animals often in games.
Oh God, why furries?
