Awesome review. I started on/learned on/and currently ski the exact same WC108/184. I'm going to demo some DW's soon and I really want a pair of CB's, but as far as my everyday ski I love em....but you are definitely able to push them way harder. Thanks for pointing out the awesome story line too. I'm an engineer in the aerospace industry so that's also part of what attracted me to this ski.
Thanks for the review. Hit on some key areas son is looking at: recover from too fwd/too backseat on drops; speed and turning; transitions; width versus skier height (fitment)
Here are my comments on this ski. It does have a speed limit and begins to get a little squirly at very high speeds and I ski the 190. Second comment is the mounting point. I think the mounting point is too far forward at least for my skiing style. I ended up moving it back 1.5. Great ski and is really my everyday ski.
Great review. I’m currently on the fence between a wildcat 101 and a Deathwish 104, but this is making me consider looking at the wildcat 108. I’m an intermediate/advanced skier in Colorado looking for a fun, fast, and engaging ride.
Depends if you are a more traditional turner. I had mine at recommended and moved them back 1.5 and they are perfect. The recommended is too far forward if you ask me.
These are more surfy and playful, but stable and confident giving. I have older deathwishs, there are fun but too soft, I think the newer ones are stiffer.
@@justinmtbiking You my friend need to get on some high quality European ski to see what a good build is. Stockli Stormrider 102 for instance- blows any ski from any indie brand right of the water. The Wildcats 108 are nice ski but they have distinct low limit-means on groomers nothing really happens in terms of turning until you reach 50 kph, they “carve” like a barge and for soft snow there are infinitely better options in the 100-ish category. Plus they have a distinct “wooden” feeling to them. Mine are 190 and I only use them for the rare fresh snow days when it is a foot or more deep.
Awesome review, your videos are so wholesome. 120 days on the mountain is impressive 👏🙌
Haha yea dude last season was 152 💪💪
I like this guys style
My blizzards completely delammed today at Squaw. I'm in Reno. Thinking about going over and looking at them tomorrow.
Yes dude! Go do it!

Thanks man! Such a great ski. Just bought another pair cause you don’t fix what ain’t broke man!

My close friend Drew has the 104s and says they are a stiffer, more charge, Ski than the Wildcats.
I have the 101s. Great skiis but I almost wonder if I should have gone with the 108s. Don’t think you can go wrong.
@@jasoncmego1769 all depends on what you ski and what you want the ski to perform! Easier to get on edge vs floatation
Great review, what are you top 3 favorite skis including this one?
Moment wildcat 108, faction candide 2.0, Dynastar m free 99, fisher 99ti
@justinmtbiking -- Did you mount these at factory recommended -6cm? If yes, did the ride feel a little far back? Thoughts on -5cm instead?
I’ve had them at reccomended and +1 and don’t notice a difference, this is perfect recommendation

If I already have a carving ski, would you recommend the 116 over the 108? I’m torn between the two
I really like the 108, I find the 116 to be very different, stiffer and less playful.
@@justinmtbiking oh thanks! Do you think the 116 sacrifices too much for the extra float? I’m honestly torn
@@kaydejacobs614 yes personally. The only real time you need 116s is when there are feet of untracked snow, and you coming off drops hard.
Great review thanks.
I’m glad it found you well
how do these perform in trees, icy off piste?
@@brettrichardson4881 they have good grip with the side cut, and with the rocker profile the turn well and easy in tight situations!
Did you ride Deathwishes? If so, why do you prefer these?
These are more surfy and playful, but stable and confident giving.
I have older deathwishs, there are fun but too soft, I think the newer ones are stiffer.
I would highly recommend for you to try out some Nordica/Blizzard in the same width. You will thank me later.
Yes I enjoyed the rustler, it’s solid!
have you had a chance to rip the mfree 108 yet?
Not yet! I’ve got the 99s and based on that ski, I think it would be fun, but the mount point on the m Free is quite far back for my preference
Do you know how or where I can demo these?
Go to the moment website and look up dealers, they should have demo pairs at the shops.
Moment factory also does free demos in Reno,nv
@@justinmtbiking Thank you!

Wildcat 108-best ski ever built? 😂😂😂😂
I mean I love mine but c’mon…
I mean I wouldn’t change anything about this ski deminsion wise and flex wise.

@@justinmtbiking Yes it is 😉 In fresh snow they are my go-to ski.
@@tonyg3091 I have a pair of fisher 99Tis and those are a really fun groomer ski
