  • Moment has been making skis in Reno for over a decade now, and since the very beginning, they’ve done things their own way. So, when they revealed their new Commander series, those skis’ directional, metal-laminate, and narrow (for Moment) designs came as a bit of a surprise.
At Blister Summit 2024, we got the whole story from Moment Skis CEO, Luke Jacobson. We discuss how their directional skis have evolved over the years; how the Commander 92 and Commander 102 compare to Moment’s Countach, Wildcat, and Deathwish skis; the materials and design traits that make the Commander skis stand out, and more.

    Bring back the 118!
Seriously I'm exited to try the 92 and 102. I like skis like the Pro Rider and Faction Dancer series, and I'm glad to see Moment taking up that torch.
I also agree that there's no substitute for weight in a charger like this.

Moment skis forever. I’m still riding and loving my 2013 bibby pro!

I am still riding my 2012 Bibby Pro, best one ever. Got another one, 2016 Cy Whitling’s edition, but it was totally different ski, so still skiing my old one, and afraid to try new one again.
