Being a teenager is like a foggy road, you don’t know where your gonna go, you always fear there’s a cliff at the end.
but if you don't keep walking, you will never find out
@@FlareonFacts263woah
@@FlareonFacts263 And even if you fall off of that cliff, there is a new road
@@Armandazin this new road the directions Are mixed up you must find the way home on your own.
@@PsychoV4 Yes, after reaching home, you have succesfully completed life
The major problem, for me at least, is that I keep stopping doing things I like simply because I think I'm wasting time by not doing things that look "competitive" for admissions officers. I've realized that it is much more important to do something that you are passionate about than doing what you want others to think you do and enjoy.
YES!! Also, the things that you do just for fun (i.e., the things that don't look "competitive"), actually tend to be the activities that stand out the most. I'm a huge proponent of pursuing fun, "quirky" hobbies in addition to the more traditional activities
This video really help me and i was always so scared of trying to stand out becuase for me i feel like the standard for me being asian, im always veiwed as "smart and noting else" so i was embarassed of getting a 95 percent of getting a b in math or lutterly doing anything wrong because i would think that im not living up to the standard as my culture and my family heritage. It felt like i was a puppet or somthing that should be represented as a avarage standard and what ever i did wrong was hurting my reputation. Im still trying to be myself with other people becauase i usally keep myself hidden and unseen and your videos help me out alot so thank you❤

@@goharsguidedude I think ur awesome I look up to you 😊
it's pretty stressful for teenagers tbh. People keep thinking that we should be happy and stuff. But getting used to the new body and the school trends and everything is constantly making me stressed out.
Trends ain't that deep, man.
I agree! I’m barely a teenager, and I’m not a big fan of what’s happening around me. I was never one to wear what everyone else was wearing, etc, and I try to hold onto that
@@584asmr4good I was not like that and I am still not like that I try to fit in because nobody ever notices me I spent 5th-7th grade being the one kid that never hangs around anyone books kinda started to become my friends in 8th grade i gave up hope at the start of the year I had 5 friends I ended with 3 this year I started with 5 and I am going to end with 8 1st year I have actually gained friends I’ve had a hard life I’m a military child and I think I have some childhood trauma I can’t wait to go to college and get away from my bullying brother and my parents say it’s just because he’s a teenager but me and him have just been getting more and more distant the last time he said he loved me and actually wasn’t forced to say it was in early November
@@Hp_pjo_twilight_hungerGamesFan I kind of relate to this.
After my father's passing, I started focusing on things other than the ones that my family members had done so far, I learnt English, I am opting for maths in 11th, I learnt programming and all that stuff. But when I talk about this to my family members, The just make fun of me. Even if they are happy for what I've done, They Just laugh at me and idk why.
On the other hand, A Few friends that I have in school, Are the ones who keep motivating me to not give up just yet. Idk why but my life is just going the other way around rn
It's funny how a few of these comments are made by underaged people but they're still more mature and understanding than some adults. I feel adults are too fixated on their title as adults and undermine teens and kids in general. Lets give them a chance before shooting them down, shall we? (As a teenager myself, I've seen how some passionate and spirited peers were just shot down because they're "just kids")
I am 14 and i am constantly struggling with maintaining my grades, my health and also my hobbies. It became so much of a burden that i didn't think it was possible, until i saw Gohar's Channel. Thanks Mr. Gohar.
Same I'm 14f I'm almost 15 (star wars day) and health is a biggie for me. I have epilepsy, RND, hypotension, and close to everything not fatal under the sun. (I'm not saying epilepsy cant be fatal) And I miss SO MUCH SCHOOL. 😭 I constantly have to wear braces on my wrists, knees, ankles etc. I'm so tired rn😭 it's 11pm im tired and I need sleep to go to school tomorrow Im gonna sleep now. That's probably a lie. I'm probably gonna doom scroll. Ok bye 👋
I'm fine 😂 I'm JUST SO TIRED RN😭 LET ME SLEEP PEACEFULLY TONIGHT LORD!!! 🙏💤❤️

2:28 Everything is a Skill (Hard skills: Concrete; Soft skills: Less tangible. BOTH ARE TRAINABLE!)
4:01 It’s Never Too Late (Being a teen is still a lot of time to learn something!)
5:03 You are More Capable Than You Realize (Not everything is based on innate talent!)
6:22 Be Explicit (Ghosting and beating around the bush can lead to people believing your unreliable)
7:50 Life is a Presentation Game (Presentation is important!)

Make sure to take your time and don’t pressure yourself, I’m 15 and since I was 12 I’ve been trying g to become the best version of myself.
And make sure you’re doing this for yourself 🤍
@@nvvthii thanx 4 the advice ❤❤
The best thing for self improvement is to do what YOU want. Follow your dreams and desires.
nice bro. i start at 16 but it's never to late to start
This might be the most helpful video i have seen yet on this platform. As a french teenager with ADHD, i really need to rewatch this video a lot to process everything, my life is falling appart right now. Familly problems, my weirdness, my fragile social skills, adding my adhd on top of that makes it very painful. This video might help me to get back up and move on with my life, thank you gohar.
the never too late point really helped me, i was struggling with it recently!
thank you so much for this video
your guidance has been of immense help gohar
please keep pumping out such videos!!
This was very helpful mainly the point about changing your preferences to fit in with others. Thanks Gohar
This honestly opened my mind a lot. Advice like this hasn’t explicitly been told to me but hearing it from you it must really be important
Thanks gohar so much I really find these tips/advice inspiring and helpful god bless you !
this is actually so good because a lot of the times high school literally feels like a race
Please make more videos about this, it's really helpful!😄
Yes, please make a part 2. I’m still 15 and this has been very useful

I'm 13 years old and this was really helpful. I have been really trying hard not only to Ace my grades but to make my parents proud. Thanks for making this video, I really appreciate this!😁 Thank you Mr. Gohar!
We need more of this type of content. I’ve been watching you for a very long time and i think this is one of your best videos so far!
please make more videos like this!! these have lots of values
Dude, the third lesson was the most helpful. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the 3rd tip and this video in general! Please make more of these types of videos in the future!
For me the problem is everything I try doing I lose interest easily and leave being just average in it.
There is nothing left (among the skills I learned) where I m actually special at or enjoy doing
i feel the same way, i hate feeling
this lack of passion
Thanks Gohar! This video has been extremly useful, keep it up!
Your informative videos make me feel happy and forget all the anxiety and stress for some minutes
That is so precious❤
This was a great and helpful video, it will definately help me out in my daily life really appreciate it Gohar! Will always keep these in mind, and I would love for you to post more content like this ❤

Thanks for this! I’m currently 13 years old and this helps a lot. I’ve heard some of the same advice from others and I’m aware that it works. I’d definitely like to see more videos like this since I’m going into high school and the idea is pretty scary. Your advice has already helped me a lot in many different areas, and this is great. Please keep going with your content, it’s helping so many people.
This has helped me a lot and gives more insight on things I'm slightly confused on :)
I really needed this. I’ve always compared myself to what people
Younger than me, my age, older than me. I felt like I’ve always been behind, and not doing enough. Remembering to take things slow, day by day, really helps me to live in the moment.

I love the tip that it’s “not too late” I started on my competitive sailing team as a 15 year old freshman after Covid. I was very nervous as I’ve never sailed before or remotely even looked into it. However I worked hard and pushed myself to learn all I could and did summer programs as well as every regatta my school participated in. I’m a senior now and a captain and although I’m not amazing I can hold my own and beat college sailors and people that have been sailing since they were little. It’s been such an incredible sport and passion for me that I’m going to continue fostering my love for sailing as a summer sailing instructor at the place my team sails out of this summer!
Thank you Gohan. I hope I become the best and achieve great things 🙏🏽
I really like that you explained everything I struggle with because I sruggle a lot with school work because of the time available
I'm a teen thats really into coding and I love the advice of embracing the weirdness and doing what you love. These types of tips are necessary, keep it up Gohar!
I can really relate I am thirteen and I have a great endearment towards coding and its the PERFECT example of Embracing ''Weirdness"
Do not let others judge you beacuse you code, remember it. Hope the best for both of you

Hey Gohar,
I love your videos about life skills. Since I’m quite young it will definitely help me set foundations for my life. Keep it up!🔝
Yeah, please continue this type of content.
Very helpful! Thanks
Thanks gohar!
Im 17 and im exactly suffering from the regret of that i missed 10 years of my life literally doing nothing. I was feeling bad till i watch this video.
It helped to my feelings. Thank you Gohar. Im saving this video for the days when i feel bad about my life.
This video was extremely helpful!
Hey Gohar. First of all, I really want to thank you for helping me get through my first year of high school! I saw some of your videos at the start of 8th grade, and I’m going to be honest they really helped me keep my gpa up. I think one of the videos that helped me the most were the studying tips for when I was taking my first finals.
But enough about me, I came here for a serious offer. Although I have many other interests when it comes to school, my greatest interests out of school are graphic design and game development.
I was thinking that there are many more people like me(who you carried through school). And these are the exact people that would be willing to buy your merch. If you give me the OK then I can have a logo for your merch ready within a week. I’ll get it all ready and can manage the expenses for you. All I need is you approval and we can do great from your brand that you have built with so much work! ☺️
Thank you gohar and I mean thank you alot. 💓
Lot of time I was spending thinking how to be like others and I tried to hide thinks I like to do instead doing them, for example I like to do math but than people often used think that I am that nerd in a class and someone who knows everything and that made me kind of depressed, but now I realise that I can do whatever I want and that I should not care about what others think, thank you Gohar beacuse you helped me and a lot of people❤❤❤
I’m so glad I found this channel
As me going to high school soon, this is really helpful for me so I can do some time management thx
❤❤
please do more stuff like this its awesome
loved this video! make more like this!
Thanks bro!
These videos help me alot
love bros vids, keep them up
As me started my coding passion at 12, It has helped me so much.
This video genuinely helped me more than anything my teachers have taught me as a thirteen year old student. Gohar touched upon many points that I feel relate to my experiences, and this video provided me with clarity. My family and friends often regard me and my interests as “weird”, but I have slowly been coming to terms with it and pursuing my interests, just as this video stated. But the mindset that this put me in led me to notice and personalize the accomplishments of others. When I talk to the math prodigies of my class, I compare myself and wonder why I am not farther along like them. Even at the thought of a science faire, I wonder how I could ever compete with them. Life has turned into a competition for me. However, this video helped me realize that the best thing to do is to tune out others and focus on my progress. Other’s achievements and opinions are not my concern and I should pursue what I am passionate about.
I have said this time and time again but thank you Gohar and others who can understand and aid us in these confusing times. They can be quite tough and tedious to endure, but know that as long as you are willing to commit to your goals and put in the effort necessary to achieve them, good will come out of it. Lots of love to you all and keep going! ❤️
I really love your animations
Gohar, please make a video on IB Curriculum
bro keep this up i know people can use in their life
This was really helpful. Especially tip 4. Ive had passions I gave up coz I was scared.
As a teenager, I dont want to frame this video as emotional but it surely hit the cracks that made made me tear up listening to the first few tips. Its especially encouraging when he goes about to never starting too late.
