I really admire this guy, Ive watched a few videos upon becoming smarter, but literally every one outside of this one was just common knowledge I devoloped in my mind out of experiences. This really opened my mind to more possibilities and ideas.
I only really like art(many forms), and I have always been the artist kid since kindergarten. I really want to be a freelancer animator, and maybe even someday make my own show or cartoon with my sister, who is also an artist. Your videos and shorts really help me stay inspired to try to be better in school, i even choose to take away one of my electives for next year for extra math classes that will go on my level that is lower than the others at my grade so i can slowly get back up and im also getting art classes as my next one :)
In my opinion the best way to advance is just learn people perspective. It works on everything.

There’s this one 5th grader in my school, who just got the cash prize for Olympiad
i'm in grade 7--not even in high school. but i've got my heart set on being an astronaut and maybe president later on (childish, i know). i barely know anything about astronomy or space for that matter. i struggle with it. but i'm willing to put every cell in my body into it if it means i can see space in person at least once...
It's true without a goal, one is just floating around. The best students always have a goal on what they want to achieve in the subject, the grade they want to get.

My art teacher said that I am unique because I learned most of the art I know and love today on my own. I learned a lot of things when I was only 6 without a real mentor, I learned with only RUclips videos. Yet, I found a weakness because of that..I only learnt graphite art. I couldn't experience the painting process because I'm a kid and kids are clumsy and use up all their supplies. That's all I wanna comment for today! :)

I love the visuals for your videos, the interactive section with the 3 hypothetical students and their list of activities was really eye-opening and something you should definitely incorporate more of.

Can you talk about this but more for athletes
the thing here in India is, the students just have to be all rounders. I am a high schooler (9th grader) and i have decided to become a fine artist and I am gonna give the Intermediate art exam ( the exam which will decide how good are we in art) this october, but the thing is we dont choose our subjects here. we are supposed to learn everything until 10th and then select our subjects. Though the government is modifying this high school experience we would not have this privilege because we have already done our freshman year (7th or 8th) so it feel kinda stressful balancing my art practice and my other subjects 😵😔
My mission is to work as a translator from English to Mandarin Chinese. The thing is, my school doesn't offer Mandarin as a language. So when it comes to school, I work hardest on math and science, as I am also very interested in those things. On my own, I am enrolled in Peking University online to learn Mandarin, and I have a friend in China and a Chinese friend here (the only one in my whole town) where we teach each other our different languages. It just sucks that I can't work harder for this in school. But hey, I still love math and science! I work very hard for those.
Edit- I wanted to add in that I'm a sophomore in high school so I'm hoping the fact that I'm enrolled in a university online already would stand out to a college that I apply for. What do y'all think?

I just finished my Freshman year and am terrified that I’ve messed up, I missed a lot of school from stuff out of my control and I was also under the impression grade 9 marks didn’t matter. With my lack of motivation and also absence I finished with awful grades specifically in English (My grades are 88 math, 92 social, 86 science, and 50 in English) I am wondering if I completely screwed up or if there is any hope of saving it.
