GOAT RUclipsr. I’ve been watching you for 3 years now. You really made a difference in my academic life, and I am super grateful for that. Failed to get into an Ivy this year but will try again next year as a transfer. I might make use of nextadmit if you guys offer transfer assistance. Keep up the goat work👍
Completely agree with you - a good RUclipsr that inspires so many students across the globe. Also, good luck into applying into an Ivy League school - hope you enjoy it there!! 😄👍
This summer I’ve decided to devote myself to improving. A big part of that improvement grind is academics. Your videos are so so helpful not just for school but much more, keep it up 🙂
I'm 14 and absolutely lovvvee reading and learning about elementary particles and various topics in math and astronomy. I was thinking of learning calculus this summer and this video just affirmed I should. Thanks 👍
Note: I don’t think mentors have to be college professors or business owners. Getting to know an upperclassman that has some experience in an extracurricular or something can also go a way.
Can you make a video about how to get good grades, and talk about what are the best note taking methods, or best study method, something even like getting ready for a test or the finals, or even how to get ready for the next grade.
I really admire this guy, Ive watched a few videos upon becoming smarter, but literally every one outside of this one was just common knowledge I devoloped in my mind out of experiences. This really opened my mind to more possibilities and ideas.
1.mission-driven 2. find mentors 3. think outside the box 4. see bigger picture.shape your resume 5. have effective communication skill (storytelling skill)
It's true without a goal, one is just floating around. The best students always have a goal on what they want to achieve in the subject, the grade they want to get.
My art teacher said that I am unique because I learned most of the art I know and love today on my own. I learned a lot of things when I was only 6 without a real mentor, I learned with only RUclips videos. Yet, I found a weakness because of that..I only learnt graphite art. I couldn't experience the painting process because I'm a kid and kids are clumsy and use up all their supplies. That's all I wanna comment for today! :)
@goharsguide please make a video (or short) on how to get better sleeping habits. And my main question is does listening to music to go to sleep, keep you awake?
I wish you made more videos just college focused, I start in the fall and never went to highschool and got my GED. But i’m super ambitious and motivated and love to try and watch videos like this to make it a little easier.
Bro Called me out when he said talk about a thing you could talk hours for. Then said the hunger games. Like bro that’s so true for me. I’m a big hunger games fan. I’m so exited for the next movie to come out. I heard that it’s detailing how Haymitch won his hunger games. Can’t wait until it comes out in book and movie form!
I am interested in research but don't have proper guidance and I know that you can be a good mentor in this field. So please make a whole series of how to publish research in high school . I will be waiting for your response 😊
Its really hard to think outside the box in medicine 😭 Cause what else can I do except work at a hospital, shadow, and learn from doctors and nurses but its all stuff that gets done 😭😭
It's the summer and i want to study effectively for my IGCSEs, but don't know how to revise and plan. Is there a video on this already? If not, please make one 🙏
My mission is to work as a translator from English to Mandarin Chinese. The thing is, my school doesn't offer Mandarin as a language. So when it comes to school, I work hardest on math and science, as I am also very interested in those things. On my own, I am enrolled in Peking University online to learn Mandarin, and I have a friend in China and a Chinese friend here (the only one in my whole town) where we teach each other our different languages. It just sucks that I can't work harder for this in school. But hey, I still love math and science! I work very hard for those. Edit- I wanted to add in that I'm a sophomore in high school so I'm hoping the fact that I'm enrolled in a university online already would stand out to a college that I apply for. What do y'all think?
What are the most effective strategies for maintaining long-term motivation and focus while studying, especially during challenging periods like exam seasons?
the thing here in India is, the students just have to be all rounders. I am a high schooler (9th grader) and i have decided to become a fine artist and I am gonna give the Intermediate art exam ( the exam which will decide how good are we in art) this october, but the thing is we dont choose our subjects here. we are supposed to learn everything until 10th and then select our subjects. Though the government is modifying this high school experience we would not have this privilege because we have already done our freshman year (7th or 8th) so it feel kinda stressful balancing my art practice and my other subjects 😵😔
I want to be a quantum physicist when I graduate, but everyone I tell starts giggling at me. My reply: “I know how hard it is, and a lot of other people do too. If nobody wants to do it, why not me?
Do you have a video about how to get leadership roles? What type of leadership roles would help me become valedictorian, and how many should I have? Love your videos, thanks!
