Electric cars are as interesting as watching paint dry. I can't think of anything more boring to drive apart from a very fast hair dryer on wheels. Roll on synthetic fuels as a straight non polluting replacement for petrol and diesel.
Spoken like someone with zero experience with one. Drive a Tesla and going back to gas for worse performance, stench, screaming and rattling is just dumb. Also lookup how those synthetic fuels are made. They don’t solve squat.

Did you use track mode? That uses the onboard chiller to cool the battery and motors, which may have gotten you longer sustained speeds.
