What a beautiful story, it's so important to raise awareness and understand that people like Duke are just like all of us, we just have to figure out how to help them to communicate their thoughts and emotions. Congrats on this wonderful film.

Having just found and watched the film “Duke” recently, I was compelled to watch this film on the making of that masterpiece. I applaud ALL involved in the making of the ‘real’ film - filmmaker, crew, Duke, and most especially his mother for bringing his story out for all to hear and experience. If only everyone would just take the time to open their eyes and be open to seeing the commonalities beyond differences, the love behind anger, the intelligence behind seeming stupidity’…the importance of communication…of truly giving others the training, tools and opportunity to communicate in whatever ways they can. Everyone wants to be heard. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
