This new all Samoan based team coached by Brian Lima this year has the potential to become just as good or dare I say it better than this team, they’re made pretty much every semi final of every 7s tournament they’ve played in 2022 and have only lost by less than 10 points in majority of these games against NZ & Fiji respectively and this is their 1st year back since 2019. Future looks bright for Samoa 7s 🇼🇸 👊🏾.
Our new crop of players are showing great promise and have shown that they have the ability to hang with the best, the future is bright for our new cycle 🇼🇸💪 Our future in league and 7s has gone up to that level of excitement once more, the only thing that shows lack of consistency is our 15s team, but otherwise everything else is looking sweet 👌
@@LC__15 the team under Brian Lima has potential, but they lack size. The old team had both skills and size. Today’s Samoan team has skills and heart, just need size to stat on top consistently.

If you’ve been watching this years 7s Tournaments, Samoa made their return and man did were they a different team from when they last played in 2019. Every tournament they played in this year they made the Semi finals and only lost by less than 10 points majority of those games. Really helps when all the players are locally based and that Brian Lima is coaching them. The future looks bright for Samoa 7s 👊🏾🇼🇸.

Thank you USA 7s Rugby for uploading this. It was indeed a time of pride and good will amongst us Samoans witnessing this great team, which to this day we believe to be our best team yet. We're witnessing for the first time in years some good signs from our current team so hopefully we'll be able to compete at the highest level with the best teams yet again as we did a decade ago. Gosh I love New Zealand but Samoa always is my heart. I cried to see Samoa elevated to where mainly Fiji n New Zealand always are, and to see this in my life time is just amazing n heavenly sent. Malo Samoa and the players n Coach who made this possible. Never seen another Samoan team like that since. To-date brilliant individuals, but not as a Team.
