When Iskall's Mother said, "You don't have the balls to quit," I picked up as to where his personality came from.
That part made me chuckle so much
This is gonna be an omega podcast of doom
2nd'ed.
Tm
Great success
Iskall mentioning Joe Hills now makes me really want to see him on the podcast. Even among all the weird Hermits, he is a truly odd and one-of-a-kind duck, and I would love to hear him talk with Imp and Skizz since he doesn’t do a whole lot of collabs with others!
YES. Plus I know very little about him and what better way to learn about him than having him on the podcast!
Yes! I've been wondering how he might have time, and I see his streams a lot so I know him kind of well enough, but I would still love to see the behind the scenes more
The reveal that iskall trolled skizz that far back and it just came out was the same energy as tango finding out that Skizz trolled him in void train
What did skizz do?
@@Snowdoniann they were playing void train and Skizz made Tango think his game had a weird Russian texture pack
@@riuphane Is there any video of this available :P ?
@@Rentta ruclips.net/video/bZAjq1s5v9w/видео.html It was German
@@Rentta both Tango and Skizz have the vods available, but the reveal was in their first podcast with Tango, which was arguably better to watch than the troll itself
Edit: episode 33, Tango in the house pt2
I don't know why I find it so charming that Iskall and Skizz got along right away when they first met, Iskall "commanding" skizz to start streaming because he had a "stupid funny face" is so funny and I love it. Thank you Iskall for ordering skizz to stream 😂
Season 9 was a wake up call to both the hermits and the community. Lots of burnouts and feelings of chores. And so many of the hermits went " screw the algorithm "
i fell season 9 was a product of season 8
@timmasters1195 vault hunters is his passion project. That's completely different. You really don't pay attenti9n if you don't understand the burnout thr hermits have faced. They have all repeatedly said. " the feeling of having to build bigger and top last season became a burden." That's paraphrased but is essentially what EVERY hermit has said when talking about burnout on the HC server
@@Trauma284 weird, I watch several hermits and it is definitely it true to say they have all said it, it very much varies. The ones who talk about it tend to have very little to compare it to in terms of real life work experience, like Grian and Mumbo, or at least that's how it seems from what they say.
@timmasters1195 I hadn't thought of that. And that seems pretty true.
I guess the ones I pay more attention to are the ones closer to my age. That all started in IRL jobs or military before becoming content creators. So most of them has burnout prevention tactics. (Not counting wels and etho when they took their long breaks after family loss)
@@Trauma284 yep, and for the most part they also have better perspective on what their job is like compared to the average experience of their viewer. Taking time off after bereavement is obviously totally different.
Petition for the next season of Imp and Skizz Skyblock to be Sky Vaults. Yes it would be a longer series then the usual Skyblock but man it would be so cool to watch the two of them learn and play through vault hunters in that way.
This so needs to be a thing that would be sooo awesome
episode 1, contest to see who gets a pickarang first 😊
yeees!!!
♥
We need to have a Vault Hunters Naked and Scared season!!!!!
28:00 there's the "subtle cursing" from skizzy-wizzy
797.8 hrs on American Truck Simulator here lol
shoutout to Iskall's one friend
This being unlisted is very concerning.
Agree. It was intentional and concerning indeed. Download and repost
Indeed, I had to look for this episode on google just to see what if anything Iskal said on here to warrant it being delisted.
Because it's been released that Iskall is creepy and abusive to at least 3 women. This is why he quit Hermitcraft.
Yeeeeeesssss! Impulse! Yeeeesss!
No part 2!?!?!?
American truck Simulator is quite relaxing!
I was not falling for the blowing up of bases after episode 40-something in s7 wher Grian 'blew up' the mansion.
I miss yall in Detroit!!!! I’m so behind!
Wow, iskall! Factor is good for you then! Already prepared meals!!
1:23:50 Don't let perfect stand in the way of good enough
Iskall trolling Skizz after all this time is just... *chefs kiss* I love it so much, I love their chemistry and I hope they do get to collab more in the future.... Vault Hunters anyone? 👀
These guy have never collab, until hermitcraft 10.
@@AgnesBooth-zu7tw I never said that they did. I just said I hope they collab more.
@@DruidQueen89Collabs are likely over for him.
@@MichaelMoore99 yeah this didn't age well did it.
Swearing is a changing game. I teach 2nd grade (7 year olds). They think shut up, crap, and stupid are vile swears. When I taught 3rd grade, I literally sat down with a child to make "not at school" list because his family was ok with swearing at home. He memorized the list, then we destroyed it. As the year went by, I would just say, "Add that to the list," if he found a new word.
It's hilarious to me that Swedish children would be swearing at school.
I miss Iskall on Hermitcraft, he was so compelling in the first few months of season 10.
ISKALL MAN!
RUNNING HERE AND THERE AND EVERYWHERE!
SWEDISH GENIUS BEYOND COMPARE!
Is that... A Gummi Bears reference? I swear I can hear the opening song in your comment haha
Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are still extremely popular games. They are based on real-world maps, the driving times are condensed, and sleep time works like minedcraft sleep does except you literally crash as your eyelids droop if you dont park up to sleep. There are 2 live radio stations, one called Simulator Radio, the other called Truck Sim FM, which anyone can tune into and send song requests to listen to and these have ads for multiplayer convoys!. I play Farming Simulator and have have the Tobii Eye tracker to look left/right without taking my hands off the steering wheel, if I had 2 extra monitors they would be my side windows on the truck. I have a joy stick because there arent enough keys on the keyboard. I have ETS2 and have had it for years, it's a lot of fun delivering cargo and trying not to damage it.
I loved getting to know Iskall more and learning about vault hunters, hopefully Iskalls hardware issues will be over soon.
On that language thing that Iskall mentioned, I worked with two people from Honduras, and they also didn't really get the difference between ch- and sh-, even though one of them was nearly fluent without much of a Latin accent. I found that pretty interesting. Spanish doesn't have the "sh-" sound, so it's not engrained in their language patterns
We NEED Iskall part 2. Season 10 unhinged Iskall is the absolute best.
Also... Would really love to play Quake 3 arena and Unreal Tournament!! Best memories
Hell yes its Iskall's turn! skizz's "you son of a bitch!" was personal! Listening to the passion in Iskall's voice is so much fun, regardless of what he's talking about. More please!
I know right! I was playing a game when skizz said it and I had to rewind, it caught me by surprise so much.
I relate so much to Iskall saying he doesn't like the entire process of eating. I'd rather take that pill too!
iskalls story about cheap/sheep reminds me instantly of this girl I play with for last decade (or even more) It took us soooo long for her to pronounce the J correctly while on Teamspeak (yes, we're old fashion) and when we finally "fixed" it, we figured out another letter or word she just totally mispronounces due to her Swedish tongue.
The fact that there actually is a "RUclipsr simulator" pewdiepie's tuber simulator 😂
"There's no point in worrying about something that hasn't happened" -Iskall85
This is an amazing quote that is insanely good advice. too many people worry about the what ifs too much that they don't focus enough on the present.
I can’t believe how fast the conversation picked up! They even forgot the “Who is Iskall” part!
We all know iskall even the ones who don't
@@copernicubyeah but it’s tradition. Even etho did it
@@unluelifnil who's that Etho guy?
It's at 6:14
U dont know Etho!?!? @@copernicub
I want to see that quake/UT video !!!! It's my whole childhood !!
1:25:00 Thanks for saying this Impulse. The amount of flak Iskall, and other Hermits, get for doing anything but Hermitcraft is unfair.
It’s not about doing other things, it’s about the miscommunication and being disingenuous about doing it/their return. Mumbo perfectly relayed him being away from HC during Season 9, and that he would return. He was completely up front. THAT is the difference
@@josephcraig8097 Every one of them are all are upfront about what they're doing unless it's private. They share it on some form of social media or in a yt vid afterwards. No one has been disingenuous or lied. Also they don't fucking owe you an explanation; they're human beings creating entertainment out of their own free will, we're not their bosses.
@@MoonyFBM actually, without us, they don’t pay bills. It’s US watching their videos, it’s US watching streams, it’s US watching sponsored ads, it’s US buying merch, it’s US subscribing.
Also, Iskall ever since Season 7 has missed SUBSTANTIAL periods of time, and nobody got a heads up. Plenty of other Hermits actually care about their viewers and let them know up front that they’re taking a break, or will miss a stream, or videos will be slow for a little while. Shit like that takes 5 mins to convey. Anything updates that Iskall would eventually give, would be buried in a 6hr Vault Hunters stream. So, if you aren’t a fan of VH, you NEVER received that information.
@@josephcraig8097the entitlement here is absolutely crazy
@@josephcraig8097 This! I remember when Mumbo took a break. He was completely sick of YT but still took the time to inform his viewers he won't be posting for a while. And his comment section during that gap? Mainly people being supportive and saying they miss his videos but that he shouldn't pressure himself.
Meanwhile iskall has stopped posting multiple times now and not once has he bothered informing his viewers. The result? People constantly asking what happened, where he disappeared and if he has plans to continue the series with comments looking more and more frustrated every time it happened.
Stress takes breaks pretty much at the same time as iskall does and yet she always makes a post about it and the fanbase is much more underatanding as a result.
Iskall doesn't owe anyone videos and he has every right to abruptly stop a series if he doesn't enjoy it anymore. He, however, doesn't get to complain about his fanbase having questions when he has continually refused to comunicate with them. The creator dictates (to an extent) how the fanbase will behave and right now iskall is failing at that aspect of his job.
28:01
I love them all

The "ISKALL YOU SON OF A BITCH" put the biggest smile on my face ever
Bartoletti Well
Iskall and Mumbo were the first ones I started watching with Hermitcraft.
And the Vault Hunters actually got me to get my wife into playing with me. We built her a computer just for us to play together
Like Iskall said, Shit is just a word, like here in Australia we too use it a lot to describe something that is not good. Like 'that cake was shit'. (it didn't taste good).
There is an American Truck simulator where they've been slowly adding each state and it is so amazing
I've never been interested in Battlefield or any game like that, but now I really REALLY want to see them pull off that stunt again, catapulting someone into the air and all! That sounds epic!
Eating Non-enjoyers unite! If i could photosensitize I would be fine with being green
Euro truck simulator is such a good game have 200+ hours in it play it with friends all the time, the same company makes also American truck simulator basically the same game but different trucks and different map, it is really cheap like 2 bucks in steam sale so give it a try on stream
Imp and skizz could try American truck simulator and actually drive through their town/state and see how well done theyve made the game. Its pretty cool. Definitely one of kf my favorite games
Edit: ask bdubs about it. He was into it for a bit too 😁
Don't underestimate Euro Truck Simulator 2 (also has American version). It's currently the 35th most played steam game. It's such a relaxing time, and surprisingly enjoyable to play co-op so you can drive with your mates in a convoy.
I got into Euro Truck simulator also... It can be addictive... Also got into Snowrunner and its predecessors.
facts! nobody is born with a talent. people have things they have some kind of affinity for that they pick up easier, but if that aligns with their passion is a different thing.
I never had the affinity to draw. for me it was more learning and hard work than it was for a lot of people I crossed paths with in different art communities. even seeing people years younger than me and way less years of practice posting masterpieces compared to my silly little doodles didn't deter me. there is still a lot I can't draw well, let alone draw at all and work life kept me so busy and exhausted I only drew maybe 3 things a year for the last 4-6 years. which stagnated any progress, but I think my drawing skills are decently good. example: my pfp is a relatively recent doodle.
I mean if I was able to get that far in 17ish years with a lot of breaks in between, then what stops others from learning the skills for what they're passionate about, even if they don't have an affinity for it?
Skizz dogging on 18 wheeler sim but will play Plate Up lol😂
elgato sponsor this man already!
Quake and Quake 2 CTF For all you young ones (Capture the Flag) Oooh I'm old!
Anybody else hear the whispering at 59:58? I was at work alone with my earbuds and it about gave me a heart attack. 🤣
I always appreciate iskall's candidness and honesty. There's lots of it in this + in his behind the scenes vodskall videos
On Impulse and Skizz not getting why driving a semi-truck or for me personally, a bus (yes a bus for public transport), in a game that simulates stuff:
As kids we all grow up and have something we find verry cool, im talking when you are 5-12 years old. This can go from busses to semi-trucks, firefighters, policemen, big ships, airplanes, trains, what not. Sometimes it is a kind of thing where one of your parents has a cool job you want to do later. I remember back when i was verry young i loved old clocks because my grandparents had some clocks that for one example dated back to 1901 or so. (It never worked correctly, but i was facinated by it) My other grandparents had an apartment at the coast (I Live in Belgium, important note) where we would go often in vacations or weekends, and they have there the longest tramline in the world and to this day I love trams but I am verry likely never ever going to drive one, allbiet it be a cool thing. Then I turned 12 and got to middle school and i took public transport there and back. The line was operated by one depot, that only served 2 lines and had only something like 15ish drivers employed, and as it happend, the busses were verry full each day, but verry soon I learned there is usually some space open at the front door, next to where the driver sits.
I get sidetracked from here-
And a couple of days later because of some other people who were older and been bussing longer, I got to know all the drivers. And I was kind of curious about the things they did while operating a bus. To that point where I got to know some of the qircks of individual busses. I remember there was this one bus that was a couple of years older than the others, and to open it's back doors you had to manually activate this brake where as with the other busses that happend automatically as you opend its doors, but if you waited to long after the bus had come to a stop (like 5 seconds or something), the bracke wouldn't activate. As new drivers came in and drove that bus for the first times, they would struggle with those doors, but then when I got to tell them that brake wouldn't activate anymore. I comes a thing I observed this one driver doing one time: He hadn't activated the brake (out of habbit from the other busses, probably) and the doors wouldn't open, so he just gave some gas, and the bus rolled slightly forwards, where he was able to activate those brakes and open the doors. So I told that new driver the trick i saw and ofcorse they be sketchy doing something 14y/o kid says, while its their job. But the driver did and it worked and I remember when in a bit of traffic that same driver practicing to activate that brake. But apart from that, I got to know nearly every bus driver that worked that depot, even being suprised when i got on and a teacher/safety coordinator who worked AT my school was behind the steering wheel. I knew from other drivers he worked there on occasion, but still that was a bit of a suprise.
Now 10 years on from my first trip with those busses, I'm certain that some time during my life, I'll be working there as a bus driver in that depot at some point in my life, or even as my full time job, depending on collage results. (Even a driver with something like 37 or so years experience, has been saying i should go for my bus licence and become a bus driver, and honestly, there is a lot of demand for bus drivers where i live)
- To here. I totaly got sidetracked, whoops!
But as a 12 year old kid I really wanted to drive busses, so at first I improvised, playing an older Pixar Cars game that had an open world to drive in and I just drove as mcqueen pretending i drove a bus on the route i rode to school. Then a Bus simulator came out for ps4, had realistic busses and had the busses i had ridden on, so i got that and sadly, those 2 (there was a sequel) ended up way to buggy, but those games had me down for hours on end. Those simulators that is about driving trains or busses or Semi-trucks, are a means for people to go and get a taste of what they dreamt of as a kid, even if they are an IT big head who makes tonnes of money, or just a person who cleans toilets for a living. On train games, with some brand new developpers, headed by people who have actual hand on experiences, it is even heading into a space where they are making a game that tries to simulate old designs of locomotives that are never going to run again or even didn't get preserverved but srapped all together. It a way to experience those things even if you are not quallified to do so, are to young, or even if you want to do geek out about busses or trains or whatever, even if it is your day job.
iskall looks like doc with the eye uhh..thing
Oh we need a Imp & Skizz plays Vault Hunters Skyvault together :D (the skyblock version!!)
I’ve never thought to play Vault Hunters before, but hearing Iskall explain it has me sold!!
I’ve been watching iskall since 2019 and I’m so happy to hear him talk on this podcast! ❤
hearing iskall joke about how he has 1 friend is honestly so inspiring to me.
certainly did not feel like an hour and 40!
I can confirm, us sweeds swears A LOT!
Yeah as a Swedish speaker, I was immediately starting to suspect something was up when Iskall was using the British English version of chips/crisps, despite them being called chips here too 😂 he is such a troll!
I feel like they are fighting for iskalls favour
I wish Rendog was there for the chips debacle. In South Africa crisps are chips and fries are also chips. We do sometimes refer to crisps as Simba chips.
I'm really enjoying watching the current season of Vault Hunters, especially the newer players who are learning the ropes. I love hearing the excitement in Iskall's voice when he tries to explain his latest idea to everyone, even in the middle of a dangerous vault run. This podcast has really tipped the scale and I'm going to have to play it myself!
Iskalls ONE friend makes me feel a bit better with me only having a few discord friends. He may only have this one guy but it sounds like he really appreciatesit
My sister and best friend are here! And, when I’m here, I’m on vacation! But, I want to be by costal!
Season 8 or 9 experienced such impactful decisions moving forward. The loss of TFC from the server created a transformational impact for the entire community. His death triggered several members' realization of what it meant to lose a fellow gamer/Hermit. When Mumbo Jumbo followed with his decision to take a few months off from the game due to the "pressure". Everyone took a step back in their playstyle/life behaviors/priorities. Grief has a different effect on everyone.
I wanna meet Iskalls ONE frined
😂😂😂
Would love to see the three of them play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator was a game, but that wasnt really a simulator, more of just a game
1:05:39 there *is* a game called Streamer Life Simulator, I have no idea if its any good but it does exist
Regarding the vibe: Just reminded me of Colin and Samir’s interview of MatPat and Stephanie. In the back half of the video, Stephanie references “the opposite of happiness is interestingness”, and they go on to discuss the latest “generation of RUclips”, which shares a lot of the same vibe you all have been discussing regarding the trajectory of Season 10. Balance is important, and you don’t need to kill yourselves to be successful. I just wanted to thank you for how open you have all been about this conversation.
PLEASE record it if you guys play quake or unreal!
Could we get iskall's one friend in the podcast?
I remember that part of Pearl's stream. That was hilarious.
I'm wondering now if Iskall's friend would get into model trains and mount little 360-degree cameras in the cab and caboose transmitting to a VR headset to have an immersive engineer and/or conductor experience.
EEEEEESKALLL!!!!
As long as they're not directing them at people or being mean I allow my kids to cuss, they stub their toe before I allowed them and their first instinct is to cuss and we don't even do that, I make noises when I hurt myself so I know they didn't learn it from me 😂 but if that's what they want to do I'll allow it, it's just language, I wouldn't allow them to hurl regular words at people so why stop them from using certain ones just because some people find them inappropriate
1:15:24
actually spit out my drink when iskall brings up the "one friend" lmfao, loved hearing the stories and more about iskall!!
His sense of humor is so good 😂 The long play was amazing
Iskall is such a great story teller. Something about his voice, his humor and his personality is the best combination for this 'job' he ended up doing. I think he brings joy to the world. And his laugh is so contagious!
Oh there is 100% already a RUclips let's play simulator. I know this because I watched a video game enjoyer play it on his let's play channel.

the title would be better as "IskallMAN In The House! | Imp And Skizz Podcast (Ep109)"
1:31:00 its like that in a lotta places in australia too
I know Impulse and Skizz already does variety streams with Phasmo and Lethal Company but this battlefield/ playing an fps game together needs to happen. Maybe like also try playing Doom with X and Csgo with Joel.
Another day asking for a pearl podcast episode
I didn’t even realize how long the episode was until impulse and skizz mentioned it!! Iskall is so chill, I’m so happy for this episode!
i told iskall i would drive him around when he's back in the US. he'll have no excuse to not see you!
I do think Cleo would be a very fun guest for the podcast.
That hour and 46 minutes flew by! What a great episode!
I bought a triple pedal for VH after watching Impy play VH. I need to get another one 😂
skizz calling iskall a sob was iconic lmao
honestly i legitimately think if the podcast needed a third host it would be iskall
